My mate on his E30 used one big wiper blade and moved the motor to the centre of the windscreen, and then used a bus type method with hose going up the arm and sprays along the blade.

Mine creaps in on the window seal halfway up the diagonal. Its only a tiny dribble on both sides, when its raining.
