Re: Today I have mostly been... Tinkering

as No1 header runs up the inside of the manifold i.e. nearest the block its the thickness of the pipe so 50mm should do it easily, I'm now thinking of cutting the flange off and extending the headers but enough to clear the starter. A cheaky visit to the exhaust manufacturer down the road my just s...

Re: Windscreen Excess

£75 is nothing for a windscreen. And I agree with JohnyC, the fact that you enquire for less windscreen excess hints at that you go through a few windscreens. £75 is not nothing. I am a Yorkshireman with "deep pockets & very short arms" Do you think I take a hammer to the screen every...

Re: Windscreen Excess

Alex how old are you? I went to Aviva as AF decided to put my premium up by £50. Aviva quoted me £387 fully comp compared to AF who were 475 TPFT! Windscreen Excess is £75 - I got my windscreen done straight away :) But the autoglass chap would not guarantee my screen as I didnt get the minimal rus...

Re: Thoroughly fed up of Exhausts

Can you even get a Tanabe Medallion exhaust for the MR2?! Probably not, no idea. I wasn't suggesting he should try and get that exhaust, was just using mine as an example. I'd only reccommend JP's really as I will get them to make an exhaust for my car in the future. It seems like he's going to hav...

Re: Thoroughly fed up of Exhausts

some of those look awesome! I am after an exhaust and want it as loud as possible are places like JP, Powerflow etc limited to the Decibel levels to what the can make? JP will do whatever you want. I would be careful about noise though. If it's loud you can forget ever taking it on track. There's a...

Re: PK_090'S Build/bodge and restore thread!

The purple line has an angle too steep see Image Replaced With URL For Quote http://www.toyotasprint.com/tss/images/stories/TSSgeneral/seatbelt-angles.jpg sorry i did forget to write Not to scale on the drawing. th...
