Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] apex intake heatshield clearance issue

Yera i didnt move it all the way round, i simply rotated the apexi metal bit in the rtubber hose by about 5-10 degrees and it seems to have opened the space up a little. Dnt worry it doesnt point downwards although i ddint hink about having it covering the side.. http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/4...

Re: Has anyone got this clutch?

I've 'heard' from other people, that one was fitted, and lasted 2 weeks in a mildly tuned R3 turbo Thing is, unless they were doing 250 miles a week, how could they even have run it in before it blowing in 2 weeks? If they had granny shifted at 3-4 k for that time OFF BOOST then i dont even see how...

I can lift the lid after i have pulled the mechanism, and i unscrewed the lid catch from the front of the trunk, wd40;s it and played about...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Cleaning intake turbo blades?

yes thats what i thought so i didnt get that deep into the inlet to scrape the blades. the stuff was pretty baked onto the rubber though and i dont think that the turbo will clean itself even if i went through the breather filter route. Which is why i was thinking maybe spray something into the inta...
