Re: To go coilovers or not? Help needed!
When you start factoring in the price of new spring cups. new top mounts etc it gets expensive for just a sprint/shocker combo.. if ou can get a set of coilover with this as adjustable and already in the deal, well it might be worth going that route..

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Polymounts- best mod so far
Get the engine mounts done, the difference is awesome. it was in both my previous to which is why i was so keen to do it.
Did you have pacific works pull it all part and torch it and put back together? If so what ball park cost was it?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Polymounts- best mod so far
Yea for sure i havent polied the suspension though id like to. I think its a mechanical step too for for me. And the cost to get a garage to do it would be prohibitive. did you do the front/back engine mounts? Through car just feels, as one. it does bump more over bumps (car is lowered anyway on bla...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Polymounts- best mod so far
Hi so i made solid mounts for my primera and had imported solid inserts for my corollary.. I wanted similar for the 2 so i bought a set of mounts with the fully polybushed centres. Result- freaking awesome. i had already added front/rear strut braces to nice effect, but they seriously pale in compar...

Re: Help - which flexi?
Ah that looks cheaper. but if you look at my original post and the pic, the ends are wider than the rest of the pipe, if those had to be chopped off it might need even longer flexi so i need something with snap inside dia that matches the outside of the thicker part of the outside of my pipes...?

Re: Help - which flexi?
Thanks guys, so when you say weld it in, do you mean inside the pipe or just cut that down? I really need to measure it up properly as id like to just slip on a flexi to that dia even if its higher than the pipes to avoid cutting the exhaust itself if possible though i think. I've seen this: http://...

Re: Help - which flexi?
So they might have to chop the pipework itself to fit it? I was hoping they just cut the flexi out. i don't know if that's a stock b pipe but its pretty stick metal by the looks of it- not sure how easy to trim..

Help - which flexi?
My flexi does need replacing but i don't know which flexi to buy or what dia to go for: http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/2823/badflex.th.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us See the internal diameter is 3" but if you look at the edges of the pipe they are clearly thicker- maybe 3.5" (not many...

Re: All over the place at higher speeds
I don't think it should be that twitchy, i do 70-80mph and its pretty stable. Maybe you rack has a bit of play in it or you just need a proper alignment front and rear incase you have a wheel causing a bad thrust angle. Could be as simple as tyre pressure, wheel bearing or many suspension components...

Re: car sounding louder this morning?
If its not raining ill do the manifold tomorrow and check under the car, I did measure the flexi its 5" from exhaust to exhaust, unfortunately most places sell their flexi pipe at 6" which is just too long. Is it standard to cut them down to fit a bit or? The annoying thing is that on the ...
