Tried the demo and like you said, fealt like it had gone back to it's roots with improved visuals, I liked the inclusion of the bone crunching internal shots too, so might be worth a purchase when the price drops a bit.

If consoles still used lead solder perhaps the console engine could "have been pushed a bit harder"
