Re: Millway Vehicles Andover
You were a damn site luckier than me then! Very imformative  I have not used Millway for any work but have been there a couple of times, they seem very friendly and competent. Millway's was the reason the 'nail' engine had to come out and be rebuilt from scratch. I posted pics of the bores sh...

Cheers Yes it does - Head is going back on tonight, then will replace this ad with a full version, more piccys etc (and also so we know it's ready to sell, and is at full fitn...

Re: Panic - what have I done (SC)
Someone please help. I was running my SC in the garage on Sunday evening and suddenly it went haywire. The car wouldn't rev properly or anything and all the warning lights came on. I killed the engine and took a look round and the righthand most connector going into the ECU had fallen out. I'm real...

Re: Heavy steering
I don't want feather-light, power assisted crap but it does seem heavy to me. The tyres are 195/15 which I know may account for some of it, but is there something else I could look at to lighten things up a little? (I have the front tyres at 28 psi) Thanks. First off, be more specific. What driving...

Re: Good Luck Anna - race debut this weekend!
Thanks for the support guys :) Sorry to have such a short lived race debut for those who came to watch! I qualified 15/17 which isn't bad after only 7 laps in the car ever! (slicks are very different to rolly poly road car tyres!), and there was still plenty of pace to be had from the car - it just ...

Curborough is under threat
If you enjoyed it, please let the people on the first link know - Govt has is down for an eco town location, which would be a loss to uk motorsport.

I just don't have the guts to do it... I tried to convince Alex to let me have a go a the slugs arches, but then the gearbox died, and the rest, as they say, is history.... Don't think i'd chance learning on the supernail... no scratch that, alex wouldn't let me near it.... You can come and w...

Re: 7.5J wheels will they fit.?
Are you not worried about braking temps? How hard are you planning on pushing the car (trackdays? 1/4 miles? just pootling?)
I doubt the airflow is much good with those type alloys, and if you do plan on pushing the car, i'd advise different allows.

Aidy, it seems you have created your own 'storm in a teacup' As already said, before the committee etc could be sued personally as IMOC-UK was not a legal entity on it's own. This is relevant to a lot more than libel action. A club gazebo getting picked up in a mini tornado and injuring someone coul...

Re: How much is insurance for a modified Mk1?
Is that how much you pay for a modified mk1, or standard?
To be honest it depends more on age/gender/location, so it's only really a guide to ask others - i think ours is circa £300 on a modified SC, not limited miles (it's an everyday car.... when it's not broken )

when you say clicking - was the window sort of jumping down?
If yes, it sounds like motor/cog has gone.
Always worth trying the switch first though

HELLOOOO! :) We sold one of our SC's (possibly the 'good' one :( ) in Nov.... you missed out! There do seem to be sc's about - and they have been going for peanuts recently.... so keep your eyes peeled. 3/4months they might not be so cheap what with it being summer 'n all (hopefully). How are you do...
