Are you not worried about braking temps? How hard are you planning on pushing the car (trackdays? 1/4 miles? just pootling?)

I doubt the airflow is much good with those type alloys, and if you do plan on pushing the car, i'd advise different allows.

To be honest it depends more on age/gender/location, so it's only really a guide to ask others - i think ours is circa £300 on a modified SC, not limited miles (it's an everyday car.... when it's not broken )

when you say clicking - was the window sort of jumping down?
If yes, it sounds like motor/cog has gone.
