I dunno, but I'd love to see someone put a servo in each end cap to create a completely pointless DRS system with it

It has been done! A guy on the TSS forum has done it!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Starting build

Any details? :) This is what I have fitted. Its for lowered cars and I ran it all last year and made up a lot of time on Steve. I also fitted a Rev1 rear cross member, far better than the Rev2 and later if you know how to drive a rear wheel drive car http://www.mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=434250 Jus...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Adjustable pulleys on Rev3 cams.

When Ryan mapped my car last year he told me to fit a vernier pulley too the exhaust cam only, The inlet is already at its best on the stock pulley. I can't say for sure how much my spool increased by but there was a increase on my GT35 sized turbo. As for power drop off, my power curve is horizonta...

Re: Adjustable Cam Gears

Ryan G recomends running a vernier on just the exhaust cam of stock rev 3 cams as he can adjust the exhaust cam timing to increase turbo spool a fraction. Leave the stock gear on the stock inlet cam though.

I'd say you've forgot to put the washer behind the tensioner jockey wheel. A mate just had the exact same problem on his ST185 and that's what it was.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Cold start issue's - Rev 2 Tubby

I've got a revision 2 turbo that has recently had the cambelt and head gasket replaced, it ran fine untill the wastegate failed. I've since had the turbo rebuilt and new fensport actuator fitted but now when the engine is cold if you floor the throttle the engine is slow to rev, cough's splutters an...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev2 3SGTE engine out service

I'd change the clutch and head gasket for a revision 3 mls gasket as the composite gasket will more than likely blow at some point. Also I'd make sure you buy cambelt and tensioner whilst your doing the belt. At least then in theory you should have 60k miles before you'll need to touch the engine ex...

DTA ECU

Has anyone used a DTA S40 Pro ECU on here? I've been offered one at a very good price and it has launch control & flat shift which I want to add too my race car. Any reviews or feedback before I commit too buying it?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Holsett HX35 or Borg Warner S366

So are you saying running 9.5:1 compression on 99 ron fuel & upto 2bar of boost is a bad design? It's being done and reliably so can't be bad. Dropping the compression doesnt help the car drive off boost either.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Holsett HX35 or Borg Warner S366

I don't know why people think they have to drop the compression ratio for. There are 4 or 5 3SGTE powered cars running in the TSS which run 9.5:1 compression ratio, The Celica WRC ran 10.5 so there is no need to drop compression. Modern day after market ECU's are sophisticated you can run with the h...

There big wheel sizes for a mr2. Most people recommend staying with the stock 15's or maybe 16's. What suspension set up are you running?

Great videos mate. What class are you racing in? Are you running slicks or R888's? I would love to try and do a round or two in my mr2 next year.
