Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] GT35R dyno dillema updated with 4th gear Datalogit 8 May
Who is it who's trying to map it & what ECU? I have to agree with Chris too that Rev 3 Cam's & some vernier pulley's are perfect for 500hp easy. Not saying that the your HKS Cam's are at fault because as Greeny says many many people have and still are Making good power using them. If I were ...

Who has Mapped the car previously? Would it not be worth ringing who ever Mapped the car to come and have a look at it?

Re: TOTB 2011
Craig, I spoke to Mitch about this a while ago and unfortunately does not have the time to dedicate to it at present. Would you be up for organising an IMOC team with my support? I've never been to TOTB before so I don't know if you want someone with a bit more experience of the event to organise i...

Re: General Help please - Mainly Rev 3 Turbo related
If it's missing then I would say it's from a ST202 which is the same engine as the Revision 3 N/A engine. http://i71.servimg.com/u/f71/13/41/51/30/img00023.jpg You can just see in that picture the coolant pipe going to the same place as in your diagram and that's a ST205 that I rebuilt the Turbo on ...

Re: General Help please - Mainly Rev 3 Turbo related
Question 1 - You can disconnect the coolant pipes and either plug them or join them together. I've blocked mine off and is running fine. Question 2 - I'm running from atmosphere and all is fine mate. Question 3 - From memory the coolant feeds are one on top of the other. If you can see one of them t...

I used Ryan a few weeks ago and cannot recommend the guy enough. IMO opinion it is very important you use a mapper who has massive knowledge on the engine being mapped as Ryan does.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Forged Pistons & Garrett Turbo
You will require a rebore to fit those pistons, std size is 86mm. The garret turbo will not fit the std manifold, down pipe or oil and water lines so will require custom parts to fit but I'm sure it's possible.

I would have thought that if the light weight pulley is going to effect any of the bearings it would be the main bearings not the big ends tbh.

After 2 years building my engine and then reshelling into my race car I finally got my engine mapped by Ryan 2 weeks ago ready for the TSS round at Rockingham. Not a lot I can say about Ryan other than what a guy. Really really helpful and over the moon with the car. Even with a couple of problems d...

We ran around the whole oval but they used cones ect to add chicanes, corners and things to spice it up.

Re: help with the belt for altinator
Not a hard job at all, You'll need a 12mm Spanner or small socket to slacken off the tensioner at the top and either a 14mm Spanner or socket to slacken off the bottom bolt of the alternator. You may need to undo the tray under the engine or you maybe able to remove your top inspection panel and put...
