Yea he is replacing the it with a Revision 3 MLS Gasket. As for plugs mate, I'd use Grade 7's. Off the top of my head BKR7E's is what I used when I had bolt on mods the same as you. The not special plugs not Iridium, they should cost you no more than £2 each, Just change them every 3k - 4k.
Craig.

Re: Power fc boost solonoid
The problem with using the PFC to control boost is that it isn't fast enough at responding so you end up getting loads of boost spikes. I asked Ryan about using it when my Gizzmo was playing up and he told me to stick with a stand alone EBC.

Re: Drag racing Handling.
It was only happening when I was in 3rd and 4th gear, when I had my foot too the floor and also when I let off until I'd slowed down again. I've had a bar on all my bushes and all my suspension and there was no play or movement where there shouldn't be. The only thing I've found since I've got the c...

Re: Drag racing Handling.
I was softening the springs off after each run and I had 24psi in the rear tyres until Saturday afternoon. I do gave some std springs and shocks which I'll take with me next time I go to Shakey.
Why would stiff springs make the car do that half way down the strip when it doesn't do it on the track?

465hp Mapped by Ryan last thursday. 12 is ok, there's a easy 11.5 in the car if I could hold my foot flat for the 1.4 mile. Heres a video of one of my runs from the weekend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNl68EE718w

Re: Drag racing Handling.
Stock bushes, Tein Coilovers, TRD ARB's, Widened track strut braces ect. I softened the rear shocks up and took off a chunk of pre-load off the spring too. I've had a bar in where ever I can get it and can't see any movement or anything loose. I'm going to get the tracking bars out tomorrow and see ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Erratic Rev Counter
My rev counter in my track car is really erratic, the needle is constantly bouncing up and down and give no reading of any worth. When I built the car in Febuary it did work but it hasn't been working for a while now. Thanks, Craig. P.s, It's a rev 3 turbo car not a MK1 like my user name would suggest

Re: Drag racing Handling.
I started at 24psi (R888's) and dropped them progressively to 10psi. I don't think it was tyre pressure's that was causing it. My launches were pretty good, it was only when I got into 3rd gear the car got very hard to control. My best time was 12.0 and that was rolling through the finish! It felt j...

I need some advice on my car as I took the car to USC this weekend and the car was deadly to drive! I usually use my car for track days and also to compete in the TSS and It's always handled brilliantly. This weekend at santa pod the whole car was completely unstable once I was into 3rd gear and hig...

Re: TOTB 2011
I'm going to have to pull out then unfortunately people. I should have really read the rules before starting this thread. I don't have the budget left to Tax and MOT the car, I'd have to insure it too so I can tax it.

Re: TOTB 2011
I've got a bit of a problem, I've just read the rules and cars have to be taxed and Mot'd. Mine isn't either as I only use it for racing. I don't mind putting a MOT on it but I can't really afford to tax it aswell just for TOTB. Are they likely to be flexible on the Tax or is it definite they have t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] FCD & Pressure Reg Advice...
What mods have you done to the car all ready? The Std Ecu will supply enough fuel for around 320hp.
Simple bolt on mods and a raise in boost pressure will see you upto around 300hp easily enough.

Could I not gut the ACIS system? If I get chance tomorrow I'll take the N/a Manifold off the engine and have a look at it.

[Mk2] [Generic] Revision 3 Inlet Manifolds
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried the Revision 3 N/a Inlet manifold on a Turbo engine? I'm pretty sure it will just bolt on but does it flow as well as a turbo inlet? Any info appreciated.

I think it's look of the draw rather than an actual power figure. Some have cracked at 400+ Hp and some are holding out fine at more than that. It seems that Liners don't cure the problem either.
