C.P. Pistons Bore Clearence
Has anyone got a spec sheet for CP 86.5mm Pistons? I need to know what the piston to bore clearance should be as I'm getting a new block bored this week all being well.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] forged pistons
You should buy the pistons first as they come with a spec sheet which the person boring the block will then use the information to determine the correct bore size. Just boring a block to .25 or .50 may not the perfect bore size the pistons your supplied with.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] looks like i need another rebuild
I was only going to sleeve the inner two bores as i was worried the stress on the outter two would cause the block to break around the corners like nathans did. When you say use top hat liners i take it you mean have a step machined into the top of the block for the linner to locate into? If so then...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] looks like i need another rebuild
I pressure tested my block yesterday at work which confirmed it cracked too, 1.6bar & 460hp race car.
Should have my spare block bored this week and probably going to sleeve 2 & 3 on the cracked block and keep it for next time.

You'll either need to get a Bosch 044 in tank or a Walbro in tank pumping into a swirl pot and then a 044 to pump it too the rail.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rotating inlet manifold.
I want to rotate the trottle body to face the boot as it will shorten my bmic pipework. I can see a nice place to cut the manifold and rotate it quite nicely but if i do this will the manifold still flow as good as it does forward facing?? Has anyone done this?

I peronally would use the stock cams, after market cams will raise your power band up the rev range. I made a conservative 465hp and my rev limit is set at 7.5k. Speak to ryan and he will give you the best advice as he's mapped so many of them

I 100% agree with Chris, the Stock Rev 3 head, valves cams, inlet manifold ect will flow really good fiqures.

[Mk2] [Turbo] 2.2 Stroker Kit Info
I think my Block has cracked during the last round of the TSS this weekend so I want to build a stroked engine for next season. Does anyone know where I can get a 5sfe crank or a Toyota part number for it? I looked on the EPC but there are 2 part numbers listed and I don't want to order the wrong on...

Turbo's don't need to have a Cat anyway, As all tubby's are imports there's no emmisions data recorded so should be put through on a pre 92 test.

I've got the Gizzmo in my car and Ryan doesn't like it one bit! I don't think he got it to work properly untill our 3rd mapping session. I think the Profec is regarded as the all round best.
