Re: Nathan's Mk2 Turbo Rev 2 - Hard Top - 1993
I've had Toyota t1rs on previous set of wheels and would not buy them again having also had falken fk451's in the past and fk452 currently. For mid range on 16 wheels the falkens feel better to me. Nothibg against the t1rs just my preference. If I track my mr2 I will go for the kuhmo's pistol Pete u...

Re: Pistols MR2 stories... Race car and Project car..
Do you notice the difference in compounds and size of wheels Pete?
Do you find the bigger wheels help with body roll compared to standRd wheels or is it all in the tyres?

Re: Paul's Rev2 turbo
Good updates, last time I looked it was in body shop so pleased to see you driving it again. Interesting to hear about the tacho misreading idle speed and the engine bay looks great! Come along really well congrats. I'm curious about this dongle? Do you have a link to a description or where it can b...

Re: Which capacitor does what?

The engine was in my donor vehicle for turbo swap, after a month of not driving it would not fire up. Fortunately I had been building up spares for the turbo swap into my na and had a spare ec...

Re: Which capacitor does what?
Hi Matsumoto, Glad all is sorted for you :) What revision/model was the affecting? I have a rev2 turbo ecu that's faulty-the car fires but dies straight away. I had a spare that I am using (and helped diagnose issue) but would like to have a go at fixing the ecu myself - was it hard to do I've never...

Re: Noob Queries
Beware of thinking the burbles from the exhaust are attributed to your poor mpg.
You do have an aftermarket single exit exhaust fitted I'm not surprised it burbles.
There are other common mr2 problems such as sticky brake calipers that could also ruin mpg (IF yours is bad but you havntbhad it long?)

Re: Noob Queries
Hi Jordan, going to go straight to point 3 as it is very important you run your turbo on the highest octane rated fuel we have here in the UK. Tesco momentum and shell nitro are both rated at 99ron. Using lower rated octane fuel can lead to 'knock' which is very dangerous on the 3sgte and can cause ...

Water pump if it has not been done before Nic?
I've read lots of times on this forum and others that oil pump is not necessary..... But could always be done as a precautionary measure.

Fitted D2 coilovers and aeroware lip. May just rattle can it as after lowering I think it's gonna get battered. All the bits I've gathered over the last year are now fitted and evolved the car quite a bit. Good learning curve for me as well. http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p219/lushleeway/B9662BF...
