Do you notice the difference in compounds and size of wheels Pete?
Do you find the bigger wheels help with body roll compared to standRd wheels or is it all in the tyres?

Pete were you on the soft kuhmo's?
How do they fare all round (wet and dry)?

Beware of thinking the burbles from the exhaust are attributed to your poor mpg.
You do have an aftermarket single exit exhaust fitted I'm not surprised it burbles.
There are other common mr2 problems such as sticky brake calipers that could also ruin mpg (IF yours is bad but you havntbhad it long?)

Fitted D2 coilovers and aeroware lip. May just rattle can it as after lowering I think it's gonna get battered.
