Re: Downpipe Costs

If ya change your mind let me know. :D Also for fitting you will be hard pushed to find somone to do it. I took mine to Owen developments and they just refused. They advised its a job best tackled yoursel...

Re: Brakes?

Plenty of other topic on this. General consnsus is Supra brakes fit with a bit of jiggery pokery, alternatively, for those with deep pockets, there are the big brake upgrades.

Re: Seriously considering a Street Brawler.

Surely with a bit of jiggery pokery the SB could be made to vent to atmos? With a bung here and there, a new pipe made for the WG.

yes/no?

nutter wrote:the main difference between the td06 and sb kit is the sb is only oil cooled NOT water cooled as well. The standard turbo is oil and watercooled. That's why i went for the ATS td06 in the end........ that and the fact the ATS kit has a screamer pipe

Re: Standard crankshaft

AFAIK the standard internals are still under investigation as to what the max safe hp is that they can take. I thinkit will also depend on what revision it is. I could be wrong though. I'm not very "up" on the internals yet.

Re: Seriously considering a Street Brawler.

The GReddy kit was one of the others that I saw when I was looking ages ago. I will give the US forums a browse tomorrow and see what I can find.

Seriously considering a Street Brawler.

I've taken the MR2 off the road for one reason or other. And now I'm wondering what to do turbo wise to the car. I like the look of the Street Brawler kit, and have read good things. What other turbo kits are there in a similar price bracket. Is there much difference between them?

Thanks
Ant

Re: Owning a track car

I'm looking at trackin my Mk2 tubby. Hopefully gonna strip it out over the next few months, sort out some bits and pieces. Its become to expensive to run on the road daily so for the price of a set of rear tyres I bought myself a little run around.
