Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Power Drain

I can do that, should be really quick and easy to check the stereo wire then. If its not that then the missus .... aka my little helper.... will have to hold the multimeter :D

[Mk2] [Turbo] Brake Judder

Ok, fitted myself some nice S14 calipers with Supra Discs and Gaz' spacers. All seemed ok for a few hundred miles but now whenever I brake from speed (ie 50+) I get massive brake judder. Pretty scary tbh. Nothing when the car is moving normally, only when you hit the brakes. Given the discs/pads are...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Planning on going naked!

Looks like a modified rev 3 spoiler to sit further back. Looks like the legs have been trimmed down to alter its fitting location.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Suspension clatter

I know you said the ARBs were solid, but check the front ARB where it bolts to the chassis. My old tubby rusted through the chassis at that point. All looked okl when there was weight on the car but when the droplinks came off .... it was noticeable. gave a very loud clattering noise over any bump.

Re: Silver Rev 5 - Armadale

If its in Cricketfield then it'll be yours. Cant remember the reg tbh. Yeah, I take mines to work down the A89 past the airport occasionally.

Yours looks nice when I see it. Always wondered if you were on here lol.

Sure we have a spare headlight motor in the garage Glen?

Re: LED and Xenon Bulbs

Nightbreakers make a huge difference, literallly like night and day between normal bulbs.

I use a nice pure white led for my sidelights that I got from Stoney Racing.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] NO ELECTRICAL POWER!?

All 3 of my tubbys have had this issue and in my case the common fault was a loose battery connection. The positive can work loose then it looks connected but isnt providing enough power to start the car.

Re: You know you drive an MR2 when....

Fuel cut..... I remember my first time! Its like hitting a brick wall! Very embarrassing when it happens half way through overtaking a Corsa on a single carriageway. Mines happened for the first time, racing a Cooper Works onto the Mway. Very embarrasing as I was leaving it for dead until th...

Re: TCB Parts

A fourth big thumbs up for TCB. Id swear some of the 'second hand' bits I have bought over the years from them are new! Always on the ball and once he gets his head round my scots accent everythings so easy!

Id buy anything from them in a heartbeat if they had what I needed.
