Has anyone bought the weather strips/seals from kbox?

Hi people, I'm starting to get sick of the water dripping on my head everytime it rains! #-o So I read some past posts and have tried to investigate what to do about it. Kbox seem a really good option as they are about £170 for both doors and the tbar seals but are these seals actually any good? are...

Am I gonna look stupid at JAE

Hi people, I'm a fairly new member of the mr2 mk1 club and my first show I'm going to is the JAE. I'm just a bit worried that I'm gonna look a plonker on the club stand as my MR2 isn't as prestine as some of the models I see on here! I'm getting there though, just had the arches and skirts replaced ...

Re: Headlamp Warning Buzzer

Cheers everyone who posted a comment. Now I know the buzzer is supposed to be like that!

It's not the fact that I leave my lights on though... it's the fact that the weedy noise sounds rubbish and is embarressing when friends are in the car!

Leaky T-bar and door seals!! Please help.

Hi there, I have a mk1 t-bar that leaks rainwater in through the door seals on the passenger and drivers side! The seals look a bit old and past it and I've always had a "gushing of air" sound from the seal near the drivers wing mirror. I want to investigate the price of new seals but am n...

Wacky Windscreen Wipers!

Hi there, Do anyone elses windsreen wipers start a downward stroke before their upward stroke across the windscreen? They don't park at the bottom of the window either! I have to time when I turn the switch off otherwise they get in my line of sight. Any ideas as to how to fix this? Cheers, Pete.

Headlamp Warning Buzzer

Hi there, Now the summer is here I've decided to get a bit more motivated restoring my mk1. One of the problems that has annoyed me the most since I bought the car is that the warning buzzer that notifiys you if the lights have been left on, sounds really knackered! I don't know if it is the correct...

Cheers

Cheers everyone! I'm going to try and fit the rear speakers again tomorrow. I realise that bigger and more bassy speakers would ultimately be better... however I don't want to do any modifying to the car (cutting holes in panels and doors etc.) so i decided I would just upgrade the standards instead...

how do u change rear speakers of mr2 mk1b?

Hi all, Please help! I have decided to change the standard speakers in my car and changing the two 4 " front speakers in the dash was an easy swap. I now need to change the two 3.5" speakers in the rear but I don't know how to get to the speakers, as the plastic covers don't clip off like ...

mr2 mk1b rear speaker change?

Hi all, I decided to change all the speakers in my mr2. I changed the front 4" speakers easy enough but when it came to changing the rear 3.5" ones I couldn't get to them as the speaker cover doesn't clip off like the front! Does anyone know how I actually get to the speakers? Cheers, Fust...
