I didn't know you had to send em in... I thought you could take the old tickets along to the next event and get a discount on the gate. I wasn't going to buy any more pod tickets in advance, in case it rains on the day

Pacific works - proper job!
Here's a note of thanks for poor Luke who's slaved over my car for hours, as I guessed he wouldn't want flowers  Luke went way above and beyond the actual job in hand (turbo swap) to ensure everything taken off was fixed before it went back on, all parts were needed were well priced, the car no...

At the last sprint series event I was better at spinning than drifting that's with plenty of power and an LSD, once it broke traction I was facing the other way before i could say "opposite lock"

Re: What fuel do you guys use?
NDR008, that's interesting, I've never noticed a difference between supermarket fuel brands, except premium ones with higher ron, E.g. my bmw is rated at 220bhp on 95ron and 230 on 98ron as timing can be retarded.
I take it all fuel advertised as being higher RON really is; regardless of locality?

Why did I believe the weather forecast for sunday?? Arrived at the pod at 12, expecting sunshine, bought a chewy burger from matey above, and went home at 1. Not an MR2 to be seen. Wife and son so glad they got dragged along! Great fun for all the family!

depends on the reserve!
On a no-reserve auction I'd guess around 2k.
Holding out for the right buyer maybe 2.5k+

have you rung the insurance company yet? Assuming it just needs a wing, a realistic quote would be more around £300-500ish, prob below the value of the car. better for you pal to cough up rather than go through insurance paying excess, losing no claims plus your future quotes may go up too! you'll get more money selling the sony double din and new wheels separately. I too bought a mk2 because it seemed best on paper, and always wanted one, soon sold it tho (1 month later), missed the mk1 so much :) and now your running 244 Horsies from your Mk1? I'm adding items to my wilko basket in another tab
I normally also take a multimeter for diagnosing electrical faults

Re: Coolant drip?
If I use my imagination I can see a drip somewhere in the picture.
It's probably the water pump.
See here for a guide on replacement (or further examination)

I agree, its perfect for a turbo/v6 conversion!
you'd be buying a massive amount of invested time and money for not many ££ IMO.
