Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] fujitsubo legalis R Exhaust

Depends on your circumstances mate. I wanted an exhaust that looked decent and didn't draw huge attention to myself. Also I plan to have this car as long as I possibly can, so no need to ever replace it. I'm sure there is a performance increase. Just for the driving I do, I don't notice a difference...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] fujitsubo legalis R Exhaust

I have a Legalis R on my car, it's stock sound levels however a much deeper tone. Performance increase is negligible. certainly from a bum dyno point of view. I got it because it doesn't do my head in on long journeys, it's twin exit and looks much beefier. With a bit of hard work with autoglym they...

Re: Scenes Of Skye 2008 ** Now With Pictures **

Thanks Shane I hope to make an Aberdeen meet soon, just waiting to get my car back and all is good :D Really looking forward to this, went last in June when it was just a little too busy with slow camper vans and tourists (damn them!! ), in september it will be a lot quieter on the roads. With...

Re: Scenes Of Skye 2008 ** Now With Pictures **

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm here (on an offshore rota) but 50% chance I'm not working. Would it be possible to put me on a reserve list of some sort? I'd be camping so wouldn't need to make any accomadation arrangements, and if someone is more definite than myself I'm quite happy to bow out if ...

How on earth you managed to walkaway from that with just bruises is amazing. :pale: You were seriously lucky fella, your head 'should' have taken the full impact of hitting the post. So you either a)have a really tough head :clown: or b) you were spared by the reaper on this occasion. If that was me...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Eagle F1 245/35/17 DISCONTINUED {OH NOOOO!}

Sorry to continue this, but I have 255's on my LM's, and wouldn't be too happy with 245's would look a bit stretched and offers the alloy no protection at all. 255's sit pretty flush, and even with 40 profile it seems fine to me. Isle of Skye/Highlands driving weekend, 1st 2nd 3rd June

Hi guys Just to let you know I've organised a weekend of driving in Scotland. It's turned out to be a bit of a biggy, with a really good crowd going We have two double rooms available (one regular, other Sauna room) due to 2 couples been unable to attend. The deposits are paid, and it would be a sha...

Re: [Mk2 Turbo] HELP!! Failed MOT, emissions and more UPDATE!!

I wish I had seen this before I pulled the downpipe off after being told I failed my emissions test also.(92 K plate tubby) Now to stick it all back together and complain. I don't think the MOT tester did this maliciously, just as per usual with most new systems, they undergo a 2 hour trainin...

Re: perfect pic to compare stock and aeroware spoiler......

Wish I'd have seen this before I went down the Rev5 route with mine. Looks so much more in keeping with the shape of the car as a whole.

Autopista look to me shocking when viewing the side on profile. And not much better from the rear.

used to draw spoilers like that when I was 5!! :D

Re: What spoiler do you prefer REV1/2 or REV3

So what did you end up paying for the fronts, including shipping? This was nearly 2 years ago and exchange was a bit better then I think, but all in including making them up from my old set and shipping and got nailed for customs around £200 total. Less if customs miss you. However I was of the und...

Re: What spoiler do you prefer REV1/2 or REV3

They look OK, but as you say, the prices are phenomenal! I looked at their toblerone set and nearly died! I have them too as I hated the toblerones, however when you see the clearcorner side repeator ones in the flesh and how they operate it really is very clever (hard to describe it's subtle, but a...

Re: What spoiler do you prefer REV1/2 or REV3

I think they sell them to yourself as a complete unit. I purchased some US spec lights and had them sent down to them for the prototype. You no longer have to send them the cores (your rev3's) They solder hundreds of superbright LEDs onto custom circuit boards and install them inside the REV3 lenses...

Re: What spoiler do you prefer REV1/2 or REV3

yes they are the ones (clearcorners) but before the comments on the mahoosive price I've had this conversation before on here and I didn't pay anywhere near that. As I approached them to make the prototype ones for me. Just don't order anything and expect it within a few months. As they take forever...

Re: What spoiler do you prefer REV1/2 or REV3

But these have to go back on every year for the MOT. Why? :-s The Rev3 lights I have coming (if they ever arrive) are Rev 3 LED versions and as such don't have provision for a fog light due to having a custom wiring loom made up (apparently). Only takes 5 mins to swap over so shouldn't be a hassle :D

Re: how do you secure your 2 at night?

Keep mine in a hardened aircraft shelter/ monitored 24 hours by RAF police cameras and behind a razor wire fence patrolled by guards with SA-80's

Think it should be ok :D

Re: What spoiler do you prefer REV1/2 or REV3

if you go for different spoiler, you need the rev3 lights... the rev1/2 lights imo only suit the rev1/2 spoiler....however, soon as you fit rev3 lights, lots of spoilers suit, just my 2psi... I dunno, I think Rev5 spoiler looks OK with the original lights. Have a set of Rev3's on order though. But ...

Re: Something blown or gone badly wrong (could be my fault)

Cheers! Luckily it was just a fuse but things are never that easy. I spent all day today tracing wires and triple checking my wiring. Finally found the ECU 'b' fuse blown, but a little bit out of sight to where they usually go (right next to blade part) Replaced fuse and it was fine for 2 mins and i...
