Re: Fujitsubo Exhaust - Picture Request
Hi For some reason a lot of the Fujitsubo Legalis R's came with a mild steel mid section. These unsuprisingly rot away, mine did. I think if you factor in the cost of getting a stainless Fuji mid section, it would be cheaper and easier to get an exhaust place to make one. It shouldn't be too much as...

Re: Abandoned Rev2 Turbo in Aberdeen Multi Storey Car Park
Meant to check if the car was still there before I left aberdeen, instead due to the weather I was otherwise engaged with just trying to keep the car on the road.
Never seen anything like it for a long time!

Re: Another hello from Scotland
Paint code on the Sonic shadow is different from the black on Astral black Mr2's. Lots more metallic content.
I was speaking to someone and I believe the colour code is actually 203.
Hope that helps chaps (fellow sonic shadow hardtop rev4 owner)
All the best

Re: Rev4 Sonic Shadow 3.5L VVTi V6
Cheers matey, yeah I always like new mods, it's what keeps my interest in these cars going. To me it makes sense`to put a big, modern, light, economical and powerful engine into a relatively light old car. You avoid the tax/emission issues and with having a light car you have all the advantages of a...

Re: Rev4 Sonic Shadow 3.5L VVTi V6
I think this V6 is going to be one of the last that will actually go into a MR2 without major mods in the future. Seems to propel the Evora along quite well, and the Mk2 is a good bit lighter. Also with tubular manifolds, no Cats and Link ECU it should hopefully be a good bit more powerful. When it ...

You will have to give me a shout next time your back this way. :thumleft: Hi fizz, things are good ta! Yup, was a slow build up but this ...

Cheers!
It has just hit 76K on the clock. It now clocks in miles but probably in KM before conversion. So could possibly be lower than that in reality?

Re: Help organise a car show
My old man is involved with a classic car club which usually attend these type of shows. They usually do things the old fashioned way, with people expressing an interest. Event application forms are then mailed to the interested parties by the car club organisor. Application forms and payment by che...

Rev4 Sonic Shadow 3.5L VVTi V6
Hello all. thought I would post up a bit about me and my cars and what i intend to do with the current one. I've owned MR2's since early 2000, originally i had a Mk1, http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a341/leewa79/faf32ad6.jpg The modding bug started when I changed the suspension for KYB struts and ...

Re: Abandoned Rev2 Turbo in Aberdeen Multi Storey Car Park
I had a closer look at it last night, half the interior seems to be missing too. It's a Rev1 with a single exit exhaust, staggered split rims. Maybe someones pride and joy one time. :-k Looking at the amount of dust, the number of tickets, I reckon it has been there for at least 2 months. Could poss...

Abandoned Rev2 Turbo in Aberdeen Multi Storey Car Park
I'm working in Aberdeen and staying in the Holiday Inn, I see this car everyday looking quite sorry for itself. Parking tickets all over it, tyres nearly flat. Looks like it hasn't moved in a long time.
Anyone know anything about it?

Re: For Sale section - new structure
I'm not really getting on with this setup, I'm looking for a Mk2 door, it should be in OEM bodywork, but it could quite easily put in any one of 3 forums as it stands, so find myself checking the other forums to see if the part I need has been listed under a slightly incorrect forum. I buy a lot of ...

Re: Sie repeaters
I think you may be pushing your luck to get a side repeater there, as it's really still the front indicator units. Come MOT time depending on testing station the side repeater needs to be seen at a certain angle from the rear of the car. I push my luck with this as I have flush mount LED toblerones....

Re: Replacing horn
I 'think' the original horn wiring should be upto the job of running the Nautilus horn. But you'll need to check. Get a multimeter onto the horn plug and on operating the horn check the voltage to it. I shall be doing the same thing to mine soon. If it isn't upto it, or blows the fuse, use the origi...

Decent Bodyshop/Sprayers Bradford Area?
Got a set of sideskirts that I would like spraying in standard black. Nothing fancy, just a decent job for a decent price.
I like to go to recommended places as it's the safest way usually.

Re: raybrigs
Maybe the Raybriggs with HID's are fairly good, I found Raybriggs with normal Halogen bulbs terrible. The beam pattern is all over the place, with no clear cut off. I flogged them on for £50 as they are pretty horrible plasticky affairs that are not close to the quality of the OEM units.

Re: where can i get octane booster in glasgow or surrounding
If you're motor is relatively standard then you'll be fine on 95 RON. The ECU will do what it's designed to do pull the timing and everything will be fine. Mine was decatted running a GT4 CC and running 15 psi on a CT26 and it was fine doing 1500 miles plus in the middle of nowwhere on the Scottish ...

Have them with CRN brakes disks and no complaints, feel the same as stock to be honest.
I found they do not make much dust which on multispokes like mine is great
