Re: [All] [Generic] Opinion on YOKOHAMA PARADA Tyres please
Until i changed my wheels a couple of weeks ago I was using these and thought they were very good tyres, especially in the dry, nice and sticky even on 7J rears !

[Mk2] [Turbo] Has anyone got any aftermarket hoses on their car?
For no particular reason - other than I like the look of these when i've seen them on other cars - I'm thinking of getting some samco or similar hoses. There are just so many kits though - who has any of them - can you put up a picture(s) of the engine bay to show which hoses you have and where they...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Simple question! Are these the same things?
Thanks people - I was concerned that camskill ones are so cheap they may not be up to the job, not that i really push the car TBH. How difficult is it to change them? May go for the two's r us flavour as they seem to fall in between price wise at £69 per pair.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Simple question! Are these the same things?
Anti-roll bar link, droplink, stabiliser link. They're all the same (please someone correct me if I'm wrong  ). Although TBH, genuine Toyota ones would be the best, although they're very expensive at around £70 EACH!! Thanks Johnny - is it worth paying a huge amount more for expensive droplin...

[Mk2] [Generic] Simple question! Are these the same things?
Antiroll bar links and drop links? I'm obviously fairly clueless about mechanics! I had the ARB's replaced recently and this corrected a knocking at the front, then its started at the back - sigh - so am going to get these done. I've noticed that places like camskill sell a pair of droplinks ...

Re: Run in with an Evo
Have you got a V power club card? worth getting one if you haven't already, you just need to use 300 litres or more every three months iirc to qualify so you could definately get one. You have to start off in the basic shell club card first though then they automatically upgrade you when thwey see ...

Re: SLK350 V MR2 turbo
Friend of mine has got one - engine sounds fantastic and it punts along at a fair pace. But, its really not to my taste tbh, for a start there's that dreadful auto box, fine around town etc but it just seems to be like the awful auto's of old - not a patch on a DSG box, not sure if there is an optio...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] t-bar/recommended importers?
I've had 2 t-bars and 1 tin top - currently got a t-bar - yes they leak a little in very heavy rain, so what, when its a fine day and the glass is out they're really worth it IMO. I missed the t-bar as soon as i had a tin top and TBH you'd have to be really pushing it to notice a difference, probabl...

Well, the guy who installed the alarm should be sorting this out for me - he just asked me to have a bit of an ask around and see if anyone knew the whereabouts of the oe factory module!
