Maybe they all have wadding from the factory but end up getting blown out. Anyone remember the rolling road day back in 2005? I'm pretty sure that wadding almost hit Luke actually when it came flying out a car on the RR.

Re: Luke (Skywalker's) 2GR-FE MK2- Full restoration/build
The berk has loads of space in it. I think the japspeed are a lot smaller - Also I'm not sure what's already in the japseed from new. The Berks are just empty boxes i think from the factory.

Looks awesome. 17x9 et22 may sit a bit too proud. Be really careful they don't hit the arches first time you hit some bumpy road. What size tyre are you running? I think they're going to be about 10mm past the arch. Maybe you can bring it back with some camber.

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
I've got a silicone L piece that attaches to the bov currently. I just thought that the bung wouldn't be secure enough with a jubilee clip on it or summat You need a bung with a lip at the top to stop it getting sucked in. They are cheap on ebay. I run one on my Evo running big boost at 500bhp and ...

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
Can't you run a silicon hose from the CC core with a bung in it? I'm trying to remember in my head what that setup looks like.

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
I think the name was automatically adjusted. I seem to remember some history on this forum that's probably long in the past. Anyway let's not get into that. I've running a blitz induction kit with GT3076R and a Nur Spec. So I can hardly hear the BOV anyway lol. To be honest I don't think the noise i...

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
I believe xxxx sell them in the UK - When I bought my one I ordered it from the states. I did originally fabricate one from a flat piece of steel and it worked but then I chose to buy a proper one after that's more like a bung.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Charge Cooler for 400hp
My only experience with sidemounts is the stocker and man that thing loves to heatsoak. What sidemount are you using anyway? Personally I'm not a fan of boot mounts as I don't fancy having my car hacked up (even more than it already is lol) and I do like the responsiveness that having very little b...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Charge Cooler for 400hp
I ran an ST205 cooler many years back at about 320bhp (fly). This was on an MR2 that's long gone. It was mapped with an Apexi PFC. Cooling wasn't an issue for me. My current spec (fully forged, gt30 etc) is running a side mount. Now don't get me wrong, 400bhp is plenty in an MR2 for the road or trac...

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
You can just buy a blanking plate and run without any kind of BOV at all. Plenty of people doing it including myself. IMO it runs absolutely fine.

Good question - I'd like to know the answer too - Maybe this is a better question for the gt4 groups.
