Re: PhD thesis finally ready to submit! - Crashed MR2 :(
That's a complete bummer :( Glad you're ok and nobody was hurt. Back to the car! I was fully comprehensive with all mods declared :thumleft: I don't really want to write on a public forum the reasons but lets just say through no fault of my own the insurance refused to recognise my 3SGTE conversion...

Seems like every time I don't visit the forums for a few days there's loads of changes Very impressive work
Considered doing something similar with my bumper years ago. Will be interested in hearing the results and I might have to re-visit this area if your findings are positive

Sky Insurance
Big thumbs up and thanks to Ollie on here (Charged) and Sam at Sky Insurance for sorting out a great deal for insurance on the MR2 which is about to go back on the road after its 2+ year layup.

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
Good news on the MoT pass :thumleft: My front plate sits on an L shaped bracket screwed to the underside of the upper lip. There's a picture in my garage (running a full size plate now as strangely enough BIB didn't appreciate the little one!). The down side is locating it in this way does mean a fa...

Re: stock suspention service?
Also what would the best lowering springs be considering I am going (dare I say it) Veilside #-o In my experience of running a Veilside front bumper I wouldn't recommend lowering it any further than stock or you'll be forever scraping the underside of it. It's bad enough on stock springs, I think i...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Modifying/lightening the stock flywheel
Oh right, and so how will that make the car go faster? Who said it would? Ok, so what is the point in doing it? To give faster acceleration by reducing rotational mass is my understanding. As to whether it's a good idea or not is something I don't have an opinion on. OP - sorry for the hijack.
