Not exactly what you were expecting when you bought the car but glad you got it sorted. Now it's time to enjoy

Re: Car cover recommendations?
I got one of the advan-tex covers from these guys, not cheap but top notch. You might be able to get away with the Voyager cover they sell which isn't much more than £50.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] mk2 92 overheating
There's no way that car had a HG issue during your ownership that went unnoticed. It overheated on the guy who bought it off you on the way home yet you had it for a month and were razzing around at 15psi with no issues? Very doubtful indeed. I haven't actually accused you of knowingly selling the c...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] mk2 92 overheating
Seems pretty clear from these 3 posts what has happened. 110k rev2 engine, boost increases resulting in over boost and boost spike issues, fuel cut messed about with, gets thrashed about at 15psi for a few weeks then the HG lets go. Simples. Second post says it all. Already getting fuel cut caused b...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New mods - A work in progress (Picture Heavy!)
In the end it went very well but at times during the day it looked like it just wasn't going to happen. Had quite a few gremlins popping up throughout the course of the day but Patrick was able to work through them and after nigh on 6 hours in the dyno we were able to get a map on the car. New go fa...

Knew you wouldn't be able to resist putting some pics up  Looking good :thumleft: Paint job is somewhat of an improvement than before :) Like what you've done with the black highlights on the front splitter, skirts and rear bumper, it's a unique and personal touch which is what it's all about i...

Sounds like a good choice. Leaving it as is or painting it black?

Car is getting mapped this Wednesday afternoon. All being well should then be taking delivery of the car shortly thereafter
Will post up the dyno results on Wednesday and hope to be saying it was a good day and all went well!
