Hahahaa i disagree man, i think the Mk2 looks very good! maybe not bog standard, but new wheels and dropped a little, the Rev 3's + look very good. MK1's on the other hand, i think they are still as ugly as i thought they were years ago, i would still have a supercharged or turbo one though :) Sheer...

Im with you OP, i aint seen a good one in a while, and was actually considering posting something up to this effect. I was going to buy one as a second car again, or to keep in the garage to run alongside the M3..... i just dont see any that i would have to buy. Going back to the one i got first tim...

Also jap cars tend to be built to modify... I don't mean as in its irresistible to tweak them but that there is a whole load of extra capacity engineered in but unused :) I'd imagine the days of overengineered jap cars are long gone, no reason these days to sacrifice a whole load of profit designin...

Hahahah I let mine drive the 2 whenever she wanted.... she tended not to really. But i remmeber her driving my black one and giving it full beans quite a bit to hear the dump valve.... i also had her racing fools around. That was quite funny! She was wayyyyy to scared of the Subaru for some reason,...

Oil Filter Thermostat Dizzycap and Rotar arm New rear tyres New brake pads all round (EBC red stuff) Coolant change Also the unit in the car is an AWESOME JVC double din unit..... got USB connectors and worth ...

speaking of m3's I once changed the clutch in an e46 m3 Evo, and had use of the car for a week before the customer picked it up. I've never ever been so disapointed/let down with a car... Didn't think they made an E46 M3 Evo, did you mean an E36 M3 Evo or a E46 M3 CS/L? Mate of mine's got an early ...
