Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 200mph
The gearbox is good for 200mph.
If you change the final drive to the one out the Celica st165 i think... its got taller ones.
It will do 198 at 8500k.
So yes it will do 200mph....
But it will be limited to the gearing

Re: Focus ST
I drove one and thought it was big and heavy and didnt handle too well at all.
I also thought it was pretty slow to be honest, and is not really a match for the turbo.
Remmeber its got less power, and is a good bit heavier.

Re: Focus ST
I wouldnt be quite so arrogant about beating them. From a standstill, definately. But those things have MASSIVE midrange and barely any lag at all. My mates one shocked the xxxx out of me when I went out in it. Seen them at the pod doing low 15's so not even slouches off the mark. You can get a £60...

Re: Focus ST
Yes not that fast mate,
He would have probably modded it buddy to give you a good go.
I drove a few of them, was thinking about buying one for the bird.
220bhp ish, and darn heavy.
You have more power and leww weight, should be an easy win standard for standard.

Yeah look at that guy in the MR2 that VIDEOED himself doing 120mph + down an A road and undertaking on the hard shoulder. That was a MK2 MR2, this does not mean that we're all like that. Personally i cant see anything wrong with undertaking fools going too slow. :) Evo's round this way dont drive m...

Maybe the thinking behind it all is, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. After all it was fine in with a horse and cart circa 1870.
Cant argue with results!

Re: are all evo drivers big heads
That was to show how close it was to the GT3RS.
I agree it was not the best way to write it!
If you look, its beaten all the other 911's!
Even the baby Covette beat the GT3!
So much for "A Gt3 its the best ever" Or something to that affect!

Even I agree the Z06 is cool, LOL. But I shudder at the thought of springs! (Can't help it!) T :) :)!!! Apparenlty it handles nicer than the Supra, well thats what the Supra guys say, that goes for the older C5 and C5 Zo6, not the C6 (new one) I thought the Supra handled quite well. I cant comment,...

No its not! :) It has part leaf springs only on the rear. Oh! and it also seems to do pretty well going round corners, why change what works! :) Nick Oh that's alright then! Depends if you want to actually go round the corner the same day you originally planned to. T Tell that to the Z06 that...

Im more or a Corvette fan, than a dodge. But then if you have to factor in 70's Muscle era, then we are talking some gorgeous machinery that has never been replicated for pure beauty, they are still plenty quick too! :) Recenlty they have been trying to replicate the old era cars, sometimes gonig we...
