I uploaded all my old pictures should anyone be interested, but remember these pictures are three years old! I haven't seen the car since. I took the wheels off just to clean behind, it was the only place I could find something to clean!

Re: Lovely Early MK1 For Sale....
And here I am! Yes, it was my one. I did sell it to Lee on a "buy-in-now" ebay auction. I also offered it up for sale on here first. The history with the car shows that it was serviced by St. Leonards Motors in Hastings, from new, throughout it's life. And in fact I had a rubber bush or tw...

That was me. I remembered I'd still got an account on here.
And this was my old 21 year old (at the time) mk1a.

Re: Activity Day - North Weald - 23/10 - MK1B content
Do they still have the moto cross track at North Weald? It used to be off the side of the airfield and you could see the jumps etc from the airfield. In my youth I used to be a member and practised on my bike there many times on a Sunday. The runway must have been resurfaced since I was there (1990...

Activity Day - North Weald - 23/10 - MK1B content
Hello, it has been a long long time since I've been on here. No longer do I own an MR2 - I moved to the Smart Roadster Brabus and then the Lotus Elise. On Friday I was at an activity day at North Weald. Lots of fun. I took a load of pictures, amongst them is a Super-Charged MR2 MK1B. A member on her...

Re: Official Kent Coast run info names down please
In order not to cause problems, the Smarts can do one of two things: 1/ Leave 20 mins later. or 2/ Run the route in reverse, i.e. we'll go round the circular route the other way! Some roadsters are modified to give crazy crazy speeds and handling. Mine is definitely quicker than the MK1 that I came ...

Re: Kent run
A few Smart Roadsters are interesting in attending. Obviously I have my interests in MR2, and other cars, I thought it might make it interesting at the chatting bits to be able to browse over each others cars. Yes/no? Smarts are only 700cc, but you'll be surprised what they can do on the road, like ...

Kent run
Last year, the MK1 club organised the Kent run which I went to. Is there going to be one this year as well?

Re: MR2 MK1 owners - fancy a small track day?
£75 is cheap compared to some, £150 for Brands Hatch down here the other week! I couldn't justify that, plus being a newbie to tracks I don't want to risk it with a bunch of strangers on the track with me! Here I'm alone on the track, which suits me fine as a beginner! At Brands Hatch I watched the ...

MR2 MK1 owners - fancy a small track day?
OK, some of you might remember me, some not. Anyway, doesn't matter, I'm now a Smart Roadster Brabus owner, and the club I'm with are holding a track day at the Haynes International Motor Museum, Yeovil, in June. They've sold 5 of the 7 places but need another two takers. They gave me permission to ...

Never had that problem. But it's sold now anyway.

Re: ABSOLUTE GENUINE BARGAIN MR2 AUTO T-BAR
Well, unfortunately it seems I can't anyway. Just phoned my insurance company and as they don't have an automatic version of this on file and because it's an import, they won't touch it with a barge pole. Her actual words were "We cannot insure you on that car." I'd ring around, but I thi...

Re: ABSOLUTE GENUINE BARGAIN MR2 AUTO T-BAR
Ian, any idea what the make and model of immobiliser is? It'd make getting an insurance quote somewhat easier... :-$ (Edited as I re-read the ebay auction and found the answer to the other question) I can look it up when I get home tonight, all I know is that it's Thatcham Category 2. It ...

Nice to see a sky blue one anyway. The only other sky blue I've seen near here was up near the top of the big hill (name escapes me) on the A23 near Pease Pottage services.
Could that have been me on the London to Brighton (only it was Eastbourne) run this year? I was there!

They must have stayed in Brighton then! They never said anything about that. It was picked up by a couple of employees of the buyer, not by the buyer himself.

Re: MK1a going tonight - Brabus coming!
I saw an immaculate sky blue mk1 pass me just now on my walk into work this morning. I thought to myself, hmm I wonder if that's the one that was just sold on IMOC? And I see from your avatar picture that the reg plate is the same! Looked really good. And stood out like a sore thumb from all the du...
