Got this problem to, idles funky at first and rev kills it , leave it idling it's fine, sprayed igniter , coil all over with wd40 and its stopped it for the mo, is the connector with sponge on te one that goes into the ignition relay I'n the boot?

ive used ones on bay mate there fine a's long a's you get the right one, or better still measure your flexi bit and buy that separate and get it welded on alot cheaper presuming it's that that's gone and not the pipe itself

By pas do you mean power assisted steering? If so it's electric and not driven on a belt, could be bearings I'n your aircon unit that's at fault

Did you sort this mate? Mine was doing same dropping fast and all over place, fans kicked I'n a's normal, changed dash temp gauge sender and coolant temp sensor and it's fine

Hi mate get subrame off , take driveshafts out of hub , unbolt the bracket that holds driveshaft to the block, get on top remove airbox, starter motor , , remove clutch slave cylinder, then I went round loosened all bolts holding it on, then take backing plates off gearbox next to block , undo gearb...

it could be a earth mate, i had the oil pressure light (red one) slighly dimming on till it was bright red and it would just keep dimming till it went out, checked earth near throttle body and it was unattached!

sounds like a dodgy earth pal, find the earth, have a gander clean it up if it still the same , time to get a reg pal

hi mate theres a pinout guide somewhere on web, great info, search 2 bar tuning on google and you will find all info there, i did a rev1 to rev3 easy as pie following this

im sure one is 7mm aswell pal i had this trouble rev1 shell and rev 3 engine, gave them my reg and i got worng ones, found a rev 3 tubby license plate for sale and gave them that , got the right ones in end

shove keys in ignition, turn till all lights appear , look for the p/s light if there isnt one , then you dont have it pal, pump is under the frunk

+1 on thermostat, or there is a airlock in system, i dont think the block will have cracked pal, rev 3 are the stronger of the blocks,
