What Mk2 road going cars do people use - V6es, turbos, V8s etc
I can't afford it right now, but I miss my MR2s I had a rev3 na and a v6), and I would maybe like to get another, mostly for track use. Apart from vanilla NA Mk2s, what Mk2s does everyone use?

Re: 16" wheels for sale Sussex £10 ... £20 ... non-staggered
Hi Dan
Quite exciting at the idea of these actually being sold finally! But on the other hand, it would lessen my reason for coming on IMOC and never remind me I might like a replacement V6!

Re: 16" wheels for sale Sussex £10 ... £20 ... non-staggered
This isn't really working, gradually increasing the price :( So how about this, I'm after an assortment of car electrical items that do things apart from light up, eg motors, actuators, wires, connectors etc. It's so that I can learn a bit about electrics / how to use my probe without zapping anythi...

Re: took the mr2 out for a run yesterday.
They really need to be used sheppy. We came home yesterday and there was a continous beep coming from somewhere, eventually i realised it was one of my cars which I haven't used for 6+ weeks, the battery had gone flat and th alarm was half-heartedly having a go. I think the car was rying. Complainin...

Mk2 Rev3 NA with FSH for sale - £500 or £700
This is my Mk2 Rev3 in BRG (I doubt that's an official Toyota name but it's what I think of as the colour) for sale. It had a full Toyota service history until I bought it. I've owned it for about the last 7 years. I've had a stainless steel back exhaust fitted, which makes a wonderful sound. I had ...

Re: Simon Hick's Brighton Speed Trials MR2
I once lived in an area of Brighton where it was said to be, I'm going back a few years, excuse the language in this quote: "full of queers, peers and racketeers". I kind of bridled at this sweeping description, and then I thought, hmm, I know someone in each of those categories within a f...

Re: Simon Hick's Brighton Speed Trials MR2
You're obviously very dedicated to come all the way down here! Well done on the purchase and I hope it gives you a lot of pleasure. Marc I'm interested to know what a difference there is between 400 and 550hp :) I'll certainly try and enter Brighton next year, as long as I can transfer all my suspen...

I can't pin it down to a side, as you say, when I've seen it it's been all over the bottom of the boot. I've also seen the bulkhead wet.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Odd boot leak
I did try that, yes, but all I ended up with was a lot of dry paper!
I've at least established that it only leaks when pointing uphill, so that's a clue. Quite what the clue is pointing to ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Odd boot leak
We never did find out where it comes in, eg I've spent 10mins standing howing it down with no leaks at all.
