[Mk2] [NA] Have you rev3 na with new oem struts+old oem springs in south or M40

I'd like to compare the handling of my car with a similar one, does anyone have the same spec, andlive either in the south or along the M40 from M25 up to Brum and around on Saturday 22nd?

Thanks

Re: Found this and had to share....

That's a good point. This car's like shiny leather jacket with zips and a lot of cleavage, oh and stupidly high stilletos  .

The inside front boot of my 100k mk2 looks pretty new, the bonnet is very pock marked though, ie I would not expect pristine paint on the bonnet.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] How big a deal to change steering wheel?

I just looked at the face of the steering wheel and it doesn't say airbag on it so I assume it doesn't (it's a rev3 uk car).

So, that's great, thanks! I just need a momo now, or are there other decent steering wheel types?

[Mk2] [NA] How big a deal to change steering wheel?

I miss the momo I had on my v6, is it a big job to switch from the standard steering wheel on an NA?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Exhaust compatibility between na revs, and between na and turbo?

I can't seem to search imoc on 'exhaust', what are the options for a new exhaust, that I won't have noise test problems with? It's a UK na.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Exhaust compatibility between na revs, and between na and turbo?

Thanks Jan. I'm just looking at the bgb for 'Exhaust pipes and heat insulators', is the na cat the thing with a heat insulator, near the backbox? I think the exhaust place said that I will want everything from what I think (it's horizontal) is the flexi back, but presumably that wouldn't include the...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Exhaust compatibility between na revs, and between na and turbo?

Thanks Jason.

Does anyone know about the different na revs? Also, I think I will need from the flexi back, when I'm looking to buy the components, is that what's known as a catback exhaust system?

[Mk2] [NA] Exhaust compatibility between na revs, and between na and turbo?

Are revs 1-3 of the UK na exhaust all the same?

Are na exhausts the same as turbo ones, or are they quite different?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] why always something

I used to have a v6 and an na. The 'fun' and the 'sensible' car as I think of them. I sold the former and just have the na now, as far as MR2s go; I replace the v6 with an Elise as 'fun' car. . I've been looking to sell my na, but I really dislike the idea of losing it, so if it doesn't sell, I'm no...

Re: DIY wheel paint

Just a bit of an update on this. Although generally, from 2-3 metres away, the wheels look ok-ish now, hand-painted black, where I did not prep the wheels properly, periodically paint is coming off on the rim. A lot of the paint I put on the nuts came straight off, but strangely, just on one wheel. ...
