8:30 should be possible with the amount of power from a Rev3 Tubby but you'll be pushing the car (and yourself) to the limit though. Any place with a reasonable run off is a good place to start but you can try anywhere if your careful. Some of us even did the ring to break our teeth

Last sprint I did I ran them at normal road pressures.

Tomiam on the other hand ran one on 9psi ;p

If you get chance I'd just play around with em but I'd say 3psi either way is all you'd want on a sprint as they just won't get any heat into them.
