Re: TRD Widebody - 509.6BHP!
Any suggestions on aluminium radiators? Seen some of the thicker eBay ones. Any horror stories or generally ok?

Re: TRD Widebody - 509.6BHP!
I will get more pictures up in the coming weeks. This build thread is almost restarting now! Cars up and running with new fuel lines. Now tidying up all the vac hoses and ancillaries, fitting a new rad, modifying the water elbow to include a header tank, then redo all the boost pipes in welded v cla...

Re: TRD Widebody - 509.6BHP!
Miraculously I remembered my password after all this time. Still got this car and after around 8 yrs off the road I am working my way through a long list of further upgrades and changes. Should be breathing fire again soon. Wheels are away being powder coated, engine bay is being de-cluttered and go...

[Mk2] [Turbo] TRD rear strut brace
Hi All, ages since I posted, but looking to pit my turbo back on the road and clear garage space. So I stumbled across an EDFC and was happy to see they make good money so on eBay that went. I also found a genuine TRD rear strut brace I never got round to fitting as it needed modding to fit my boost...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Spal fans instead of existing radiator fans?
I'm using two on the front as the stock fans are huge and a bit lacking in flow, especially after 19 years on the car! I did this at the same time as replacing my radiator. From memory I used 12" although they could have been 14". Wired up to stock wiring system.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Motec or Fuel problem?
Did a compression test, each cylinder at ~12bar almost identical so that rules that out.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Motec or Fuel problem?
Going back to stock ECU is not really an option with all the wiring that's been removed and the nods to the car.
It's too much fuel as opposed to not enough, and a lot too much. Coolant sensor wouldn't affect it this much.
Really looking for obscure gems or motec help.

I've seen a car with a Technocraft vin plate with the original arches still there.
The ultrawide kit looks normal width but with a section cut out near the lights, I like it. Wasnt the red one with Works an ATP car?

Is that how all were done? I've seen a 'genuine' car without it done like that.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Motec or Fuel problem?
Ok, My car started playing up a bit some time back missfiring. I knew one injector had previously stuck open. I could move that injector round and the mis followed the cylinder it was in. I put in new injectors with same part number (Seimens 872cc / 85lb/hr). The missfire seemed to go, but I thought...

Someone replied to you on welding.
Cool, does it include an option to retain the cable handbrake on the rears or is it a front only kit?

Re: SW20 TSS Build
You had a chance to test the brakes? Is it a direct fit kit? Looks nice A couple of minor points of correction, the weld does not swell on the inside of the pipe, its weld material from burning through. You use purge gas to ensure that when you get the penetration it doesn't oxidise which would othe...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Project quads - flush headlights !
Yeah I can't remember what they come off but I think they are off an american/japanese car as stock. I'm sure it says on the feature. I looked into them, but they were crazy expensive! You could say the same thing about the light shed from flush fits. Because of the lines of the MR2 a bit of them si...
