Re: favourite mk2 pic (post yours)

It did feel sketchy but I think any MR2 would @ nearly 150mph

Honestly I can't tell you because it was never really driven on the road in that format.

In theory with the arch liners in it'll reduce lift so should be more stable with them in :)

It's not running in 2013 unfortunately.

You should plan a trip to the nurburgring 24hours - it'll be the most crazy event you have ever attended!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] no luck as usual...

It sounds to me like the best thing you can do before you go trying to get power out of it is go over the basics. Check all ign components Fuel system is correct and good working order Timing is set correct Even check the cambelt timing to make sure cam timing is right Plugs Just a good old service....

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] How long to warm a car up?

Instead of stopping and letting the car tick over for 5 minutes just take the last couple of miles of your journey steady and there won't be a need to let everything cool from red hot :)

Doubtful as supercharger shafts fit into an MR2 box ... I have a set on the shelf here so could double check for you though Peter.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] sorry for all the post, but cant get idling to settle? pics included

Daft question but have you tried firing it up with the complete intake system connected?

Assuming you still have the AFM if there are any leaks at all between that and the throttle it will play havoc with the running of the engine

I dunno, but I'd love to see someone put a servo in each end cap to create a completely pointless DRS system with it

Are you using the std oil pump and just using the external pump as a scavenge Bob?

Try a gurney strip on the rear wing for a bit more efficiency

Ahhhh... nice to see this on the forum finally!

This car has been.... testing! But eventually we got moving in the right direction.

With some added bits getting things cooled down and a few more tweaks i'm sure we can get the power your after :thumleft:
