Re: SC running poorly
Makes sense as I took the intercooler off to get at the gearbox filler underneath it. I've just tried taking it off and redoing jubilee clips again several times without any great luck. I even tried swapping with another intercooler in case the rubber joints were cracked but it was exactly the same....

SC running poorly
My SC was running poorly today. At times it struggled to rev over 4k and felt a bit like the rev limiter was cutting in. Other times it felt close to normal. Strange thing is the SC light on the dash doesn't come on at all but I thought I could hear the SC humming at the right times when it was pull...

Front spoiler retainer part no.
Does anyone know the part number of the side retainers for the front spoiler? The bits circled in red in the pic. My parts list doesnt show a separate part number for them....
Thanks, Alan
Thanks, Alan

Re: How much does an SC engine + gearbox weight?
Well it was a bit of a palaver but we got it off the back of the truck with the engine crane. Thanks for the advice everyone, I was tempted to wing it and plead ignorance with the delivery driver but glad I didn't now. http://www.bmr2l.org/~alan/11758.jpg Nicely wrapped isn't it, only in Japan. Shou...

How much does an SC engine + gearbox weight?
I won an SC engine with gearbox and various other bits on Yahoo Auctions. But the seller wants to send it to me on a normal truck without a tail lift or crane so I have to help the driver to lift it down when it gets here. The seller very helpfully commented 'if you have enough people it'll be ok'. ...

Re: Most expensive key ever
Did you guys figure out if that thing actually sold or not? When I checked the page, after the auction ended, it did not indicate a winning bid. I wondered about that. When I looked at it about an hour before the end there was a bid of 50k, but I didn't notice anything to the effect that the minimu...

Re: Braided Clutch line kit for mr2 supercharger
how do you buy from a Japan auction and get items posted to UK? Any idea Bit of a problem as generally Japanese auction sellers don't do English or post overseas. I'm based in Tokyo and buy a lot of stuff from Yahoo so if you (or other forum members) want something PM me and I'll try to help out. -AL

Re: Japanese Drift Girl (Film)
Is that the much anticipated live action version of Over Rev and if so where can I get it (with subtitles)? Yep, thats Over Rev. I've got it on VHS but never watched it since the video player hasn't been hooked up for years. I'll see if I can get it transferred onto the computer when I've got a spa...

Re: planning ahead-coilovers.
Ever encountered a brang called Largus? They seem to do a set of coilovers for a MK1 for about £800.[/url] I was interested in a set of those too since they started appearing on Yahoo auctions about a year ago. But after reading the various threads here I've come to the conclusion that they'll be h...

Replacing handbrake cable
Was putting the car up on the ramps on Fri night so I could change the engine mounts, pulled the handbrake on one extra click just to be sure and was rewarded with a loud bang and the car rolling back down to ground level... After a bit of prodding around found the cable on the driver's side had sna...
