Protane Bumpstops (with Pics)

Recently changed shock absorbers so took the opportunity to get poly bump-stops fitted- but think it may have been fitted wrongly, two bushings are supplied for each side(as shown) but according to diagram one should be fitted each side of chassis instead mine are both on outside?? http://img171.imag...

Just seen this post ... top class, makes me want to design something- not sure what yet !
Well done. :thumleft:

So you're getting the gear indication from the ECU -the ECU 'knows' what gear its in in standard form?

n/a exhaust system mk2

Is the standard exhaust system on the Rev 1,2,3 n/a the same ? or does it change between 90- 99.

Any help appreciated, urgently need one.

My car is a 1995 n/a.

Re: wheel fitment issue

I guess this is the rear of the car? I think you should be going for a 235/40/17 the 45 is too big.
If its the front a narrow tire would probably be better too -like a 215/40/17.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] How long should front droplinks last?

Sorry to say i whole heartedly agree no problem with Sbits as such but the drop links are putting it mildly not good -two sets lasted me less than 6 months, i've had cheap toyota imitation drop links on for a year now with no problems. Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Audi R8 inspired sidelights....

Well done ...they look great.

Couple of questions though:

Where did you get the Leds- are they the 24 led strips from ultraleds?

Also how do they effect the indicator ...can you see it at night with the brightness of those Leds?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Wobbly Ass

I had a similar thing with an Altezza i had- the rear of the car felt all over the place especially on any kind of bumpy road. I had a wheel bearing done on the back and turned out they had damaged the hub when putting it on, the wheel would wobble and you get a weird unstable feel from the back. An...
