Re: ***SOLD***** 1993 Rev 3 GTS t-bar for sale - was £1,750 now £1500 ono

Just to answer some questions that have been asked so I don't hve to answer them again. The car is at my parents place in Bingley. I am still out in the Hague at present. The reason it is so cheap is that I have no time to work on it or location to work on it. Over here in the Hague I do not have a ...

Re: Advice needed re Value

Should have said mines a turbo T-bar.

I was looking to get £1750 for it so sounds like in the right ballpark.

Advice needed re Value

I've been selling off all my performance parts and now it's time to sell the MR2 however I could do with some advice as to how much I may get for it. The car is a 93 L reg turbo t-bar with 80000 miles The engine is standard other than an HKS SSQV and Apex air filter. It also has never missed a beat ...

Have you checked the belt. I had the same problem and the air con belt had snapped.

Re: Cylinder bores

Not with the euro as strong as it is. My hourly rate almost doubled when the pound fell. \:D/ Parents are living in Bingley at the mo so when I am back in the UK I'm closer up near you so may have to pop up some time. Not looking to do too much with the LS2, switch the heads, intake, valve train and...

Re: Cylinder bores

Hi mate, Yup selling up all my parts. Got tired of waiting for TomG on MR2OC.com to finish up and make available the GRT wide body kit. As soon as the parts are sold I'm looking for a 2000 plate RX7 from Japan. Once that arrives I just need to find an LS2 and T56 and swap it in. :D  How you...

Cylinder bores

Hi Can someone have a look at these pictures and tell me if the bores are OK. I can see no scoring and figure that a hone should be fine although my plan had been to bore to 86.5mm http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/Ed_Low/parts/IMG_1622.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/Ed_Low/parts/IMG_16...

Re: Ebay Radiator any good?

If it's for a turbo, I used these people: Radiator_Specialists The only problem with the radiator is that it doesn't have the bleed valve in the top left corner to attach the hose to. It will take you longer to bleed the system but apart from that the radiator is an exact replacement. HTH Ed

Re: PS3 Driving games

Hmmm, not sure. I used to love playing GT on the PS2 but I'm not buying GT5 untill the full release comes out. I have F1 Championship edition but was wandering what other games were out there similar to GT 4 or 5 that offer excellent playability both for single player and online.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Passenger door won't open

Using a coat hanger doesn't appear to have done anything. It looks like the internal handle mechanism is working however the locking mechanism where the door catch is doesn't seem to be ding anything.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Passenger door won't open

Neither handle works. I left work the other day and opened the passenger door, went to close it and it wouldn't close. So to make it close because I was in a hurry, I held the door shut and activated the central locking. This fixed the problem of the door not closing but now I can't open it with eit...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Passenger door won't open

The mechanism for the passenger door handle seems to have disconnected or broken and I can't open my passenger door.

Any ideas how I can get the door open to get the door card off and fix it?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] To sleeve or not to sleeve?

Unlike having to wait forever for Tom G on the US board to finish the widebody kit there are tons of excellent ones available for the RX7. If I do buy one then it will have the Kazama wide body kit installed on it, unless I win the lottery in which case I'd fit the Veilside Fortune body kit. :D Oh m...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] To sleeve or not to sleeve?

JJ I've got a 2.2 CRW stroker kit which will be going up for sale soon if interested. Never been used. It's 86.5mm CP pistons, maintains the standard rod ratio and can be supplied with Eagle Rods as well. Ed Ed.. nice to see you're still lurking around !! :thumleft: Thanks for the offer.... credit ...
