Top feed fuel injector question..
I have some 1200cc bosch top feed injectors to sell, i am pretty sure these are universal fit injectors? so i am not limited to selling to 3sgte owners am i.
Will they fit a subaru impreza?
Obviously the fuel rail wouldn't work. But the rest of the system should shouldn't it?!
Thanks

Price advice.. Rev3 turbo import shell ??
As most probably know, I am stripping the beast down as need the money ( :-( ) and i have not even considered what to do with the shell, what its worth etc? Its a SMG 1994 import, T-bar. never crashed, no rust of any significance. It has the windscreen,t-bars, doors, all glass (tinted rear 1/4's) ti...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting bigger injectors (rev3)
you will need a re-mappable ecu and if you're doing the entire fuel system then i would get a bigger pump 255 or 305lph.

Re: Do i sell it. Do i fix it. Oh i just dont know anymore. :(
Thanks for the replies everyone. Its such a hard decision taking the plunge with the airline ATPL training as i will have so many big decisions to make other than just selling the cars. One of which is quitting my current job and committing to a 18 month long full time 'Away from home' integrated co...

Using a wheel spacer Behind the brake disc...???
Can anyone see a problem with using milled down wheel spacer between the hub face and the inside of the brake disc as apposed to in the usual location (fro the face of the brake disc)? Only 3mm thick. Obv this will move the disc 3mm toward the outer break pad, which although I don't see being an iss...

This is pretty amazing! i would be scared to drive this after its all done, just washing the body after a drive would not be enough! You have beaten me to the rear brake conversion idea too.. What spot caliper are you using? any chance of a look at your adapter bracket?? https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.a...

Re: Injector stuck open on new build engine
Leave the plug out so the vapours can dry and change the oil. Should be OK. I might be tempted to put a tiny amount of oil down the plug hole and crank it over with the plug out (and leads off obv) just to lube up the upper cylinder wall / top rings.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] [REV3] HELP! WOBBLING Side To Side...
Is yours a turbo? If so I would go for 235 wide on the back minimum, 245/40/17 if you have 8j+ rims and 215/35/17 front. I can only guess this would be ideal size for an NA also.

Check the 4 main subframe bolts have not come loose. My mr2 did this when i very first got it, hit about 60mph on a dual, come off the throttle and the ar$e started shaking like a pi$$ed off cat's tail! I thought i was going to stuff the car into the barrier. turned out all 4 of the subframe bolts w...

You see the bearing on the end of the long arm on this sw20 hub.... http://u.0.cf.nengun.com/275600/nengun-275600-03-toyota-mr2_genuine_rear_hub-b6aaeb7ffc.jpg They wear and start to move under stress. Not necessarily obvious when checking with a bar etc but under road driving loads they move. They ...
