Re: Oil filter removal

The first one you posted is the one. You can fit and tighten with one hand too.
LIDL do one similar for a fiver.

Re: Oil filter removal

The chain type removal tool is close to useless.
A strap type which you tighten ariound the filter before twisting off, are the best.

A small dent is fine as long as there are no holes, take it to lukes and get it sorted, and invest in a better tool for the future.

Mk3 and tall people

I have never sat in a mk3 before, but being 6'5"am I likely to fit, leg room, and not have my head popping out the roof too much?
Its fine in the mk2. I know the best way is to try!

Re: bov valve fix?

If this is the one way plastic valve you're all talking about, they are £ 45 from Toyota. However, they're only just that, a one way valve, and can be had for a few pounds from ebay and they work fine.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Gearbox oil looks like blamonge

Looks like a red oil has been used and mixed with a clear type giving the pinky look. Maybe a bit of water mixed in too.

Wipers can suffer when the alternator is dodgy - check this too.

Re: Condensation in the frunk

The gaps created by the topmounts 'should' actually help with condensation, don't think thats the issue.
Check the seals, i think you have water ingress somewhere.

on a sunny day, keep the boot open for a few hours to dry it up.

Re: Farcry 3....BLOOD DRAGON.....

I wont spoil it for people, but one of your choices to do something to your friends, you wont see a more original ending. Porn ffs!

Playing it on a 60" telly really makes you think you're in the game.
