Check abs sensors.
They're quite fragile.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Front drivers side knocking REV3 Turbo.

Only a few things missing from that list.
I'm guessing you checked the spring cups under the topmounts?
Also, are your springs seated ok?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Engine vibration, felt in cabin.

What are the causes of this?
The engine runs fine and very strong, its done this since bought 3 years ago.
AFAIK it hasn't had any aftermarket engine mounts.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] MK2 Front Brace Help

I bought that brace from this company.

Sent it back as it didnt fit, which they agreed with.

And they're still selling it.

Further more, it was rusty and pitted.

The brackets were strong, looks are deceiving.

Look elsewhere.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Anti squeal slotted shims not fitting?

I don't use shims or grease on the back of the pads either, no risk then of it getting on the friction surface. There is no risk. Lets not try and scare people here, mechs have been using copper lube for years and years with no issues. a Thin layer will sit there longer than a tree hugger without m...

I strongly suggest you play on at easy level. You get most of the game without the frustration.
The story picks up after half way through, you'll regret you didn't try. ;)

Re: Oil filter removal

In the olden days that was the norm.
With thinner metals now, there's a greater risk of slicing the filter in half.

Then you're f*****d!

Think you're missing the point, and your argument doesn't stand by what you've written.
Just because your car has lasted with uber power, doesn't mean you're right and Bob is wrong. You may just be lucky, some engine are stronger than others, that's the way it is.
Unless im missing something.
