just wanna add that going from 17's to 15's is a good idea. just done the same and handling, ride comfort, noise, has got much better. dont look as good tho. car now dont bounce round corners like it used to do.

on the wiper control arm of a mk2 uk model, it has the word MIST on it. anyone know what that means?

i used a real thick 15w60 semi synth and tbh didnt quieten it from my usual 10/40.

total job cost me £60 from a local mechanic. shouldnt cost much more than that. dont bother trying it yourself, aparantly its a biatch of a job.

BAD camber

Have serious negative camber on my rear offside wheel, visibly 'toes' in a t a big angle..and noticed it a lot more after lowering. other side is fine. Toyota reckon complete new suspension (surprise), and one garage has said i need new hub, lower leg and arm. Has anyone had this prob..it looks like...

i would say not really. ideally, u should be uprated shocks as theyre gonna be under more stress, and it will 'feel' better. But u dont need to. i still have original shocks after lowering and the handling has been good for 2 years now, no probs.
