Re: [Mk2] [NA] Grinding whilst reversing

There is a possibility that it could be your speedometer sensor which is inside the Gearbox. After a while, the sensors (cable driven ones) seize up.

I had the same problem where it clicked loudly when i was reversing.

Pulling car trailer with MR2. Is it possible??????

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has ever pulled a car trailer with their MR2s. Lets say the trailer and the car will be about 1500 to 1700kg.

brands hatch on 23rd

Hi all,

I got a free ticket from motorsport assoc. saying that the ticket could be used to drive in brands hatch. Did anyone else get that? If so, who is going as I am really interested in going.

Thanks,

If i do, god help them because i would not give a S**T about the police or the law. I will hurt them BAD. If they want a front reflector, all they have to do is just ask and i swe...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] MR2 Turbo gearbox speed sensor Sleeve sub-assembly broken *PIC*

Hi boys and girl, After some research, i found out Gear sub-assembly (Part A in the photo) is broken. As the key bent, it broke that as well. I also found out that The electric Gear sub-assembly is slightly different to the cable driven Gear sub-assembly. The electric one has two small cuts on each ...

Is there one for rev1 turbo parts? The speedometer sensor on my rev3 is from a rev1 turbo (cable driven).
