[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev3 Turbo Ecu Engine loom

Hi all
Having issues with my Haltech ECU and the associated wiring.
I either need to borrow a Rev3 Turbo Ecu to do some fault finding but am prepared to buy if needed. If buying I would also like the engine loom so I can return to standard.
East Midlands area.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Ian

Huge thanks to Ryan at 2Bar Tuning.

Massive thanks to Ryan for sorting out a problem for me over the phone! I've had major issues having my car mapped which I wont go into right now as I'm still fuming and though I want to I'll not name the company publicly right now either! After 20 months of listening to the "experts" abou...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Blitz DSBC fried? Any electronics boffins out there.

Hi All. Was re installing my DSBC yetserday and now I'm gutted as there was a spark as the wires shorted against each other - didn't realise the ignition was on. Another lesson learned. Ouch. LOL. Continued the installation anyway and the unit works as it should with all features available etc. Howe...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Anyone got a SSQV I can borrow for a mapping session

Hi All. My car's finally ready for its mapping session this weeek on the dyno and my HKS SSQV has started leaking on idle (ARGH!!!!). It's a version 2 so is not adjustable. I've had the flange welded into the intercooler pipe so I cant refit the original (Doh!) so I need to replace it with another f...

Re: insurance claim or not????

Thanks all for the advice - its much appreciated!
At least now I have a couple of directions I can go in (though I'll be avoiding Jeep drivers in future!)
I'll keep everyone informed of my progress.

insurance claim or not????

Hi There. On friday evening I was literally forced off the road and up a huge curb by an oblivious Jeep driver who decided to swap lanes and take the space my car was occupying. Had I not driven up the curb my pride and joy would have been seriously damaged. The driver had obviously not even seen me...

HT problem

Hi Jay Right...... I've had my Tubby 2 years now and its the most reliable and fun car I've ever owned. HOWEVER.... I've had exactly the same problems you describe and after 2 bloody years of trying everything I have it (on my car anyway) tracked down. The problem for me is water ingress into the CO...

origin b2 wont connect

Hi All

Installed my origin b2 as per the instructions and it will not connect to the satellites even though I've left it on for an hour!

I'm not in a built up area and I'm not really sure what to do next?

Anyone else had this problem!

Regards

Ian

Thread sizes?

Hi All I've just fitted my new boost, electrical oil temp and pressure gauges and connected up the electrics. All that remains is for me to install the sender units for the oil temp and pressure. The senders are american and have 1/8" npt male fittings. What size and thread are the original sen...

Re: Boot full of water

Hi Billyboy Had this problem when I first got my Tub and no one had any good ideas for me either. Finally traced the problem to a blocked drain hole in the bottom of the rear wing where the inner and outer panels meet. shoved a plastic tie wrap up from underneath and tha water came flooding out. I t...

Re: door light switchy thing

Normally if you unscrew the switch and pull it out you can clean the contacts which should sort the problem.

I've just bought 2 new switches for my 95 Rev 3. The part number is
84231-17030 (import model) and they cost me a tenner a piece.

UK ones should be a lot less.

Re: Help! What's wrong!

Forgot to say it is a Rev 3 Turbo and I thought it may be a problem with the Turbo but as I've never had one go on me I'm not sure what to be looking for.

Help! What's wrong!

Hi All. My Rev 3 has started missing a little when cold - I've done all the usual checks and everything seems ok. HOWEVER! Last night after a spirited 30 mile drive I went round a roundabout and accelerated hard out of it up the dual carriageway and the car just died for a second and slowed then pic...
