could be the ecu temp sender is giving iffy readings ie thinking the engine is always cold .maybe leaving the car in the cold start part of the map which when hot will flood it
if it is iffy then fuel consumption will suffer aswell
just an idea

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] gen3 3sgte boost cut / fuel cut
Paul Port used to make an fcd suitable for gen3
It worked differently to other fcd's as it didn't alter the signal below 18psi just clamped it at 18 psi .I think there is plenty of fuel available via the oem map to allow a few psi more of boost

Re: 400bhp Rev3
when cornering hard i found the actual width wasn't quite as important as the profile ,i got better grip with 225/50/15 yoko ao22's than i did with 235/40/17 toyos as the higher profile seemed to settle the car and the low profile would just break out very sharply when accelerating hard out of bends...

Re: Differences in doors ?
the only main difference was from rev2 onwards the doors got side impact protection beams in them .
the side strips and top edge trims were different also
dont forget that glass colour will be different if uk or import or rev4 onwards
