My friends 2 is lowered by 40mm with 18's on and the ride is abysmal to say the least. I was going to lower mine which is currently on 17's but if I do it will probably only be by 30mm and I might not bother as feeling every little bump makes my cry.

If you can raise the front of your car so both wheels are off the ground, take both wheels off and use the good side as a reference to check the bad sides arms, suspension, trackrods etc to see if there is any bent parts.

I am soon to be refurbing and spraying my wheels. At the minute they are standard silver and im going black with a red lip. My question is what is the easiest way to mask off the lip neatly, im not good at doing circular masking tape.

It took me about 25 minutes to get the first one off mine as kept having to take more bits off to get to the one behind seatbelt. Second one took all of 5 minutes. Definately deep socket and just keep winding and winding.
