Right at the very top of the smaller pipe, where it connects to the flange on the turbo.

Re: UNBELIEVABLE! MY MR2 IS CURSED!!!

Yet again thanks for the help mate. I did shine a torch up there but as you know its rather tight/awkward and I couldnt see exactly where the oil was leaking from. The gaskets I fitted were from toyota and were all metal. I`m going to attempt to tighten the nuts up tomorrow, hope to god that fixes i...

Re: UNBELIEVABLE! MY MR2 IS CURSED!!!

Just out of curiosity which water pipes are you meaning? Is there a pic of the ones you mean? Once I remove them would I need to mess about bleeding the system etc? I drove the car over a pit today and cleaned up all the oil. Then started the car and let it warm up. A slow trickle of oil started to ...

Re: Help please! Steering issues and hot wheels (in a bad way)

Have you changed the inner and outer track rod ends?

Im assuming you have.

But anyways, I had a nasty wobble on my car recently, it turned out to be my shock absorbers. I changed the front 2 and now the wobble has gone.

Re: UNBELIEVABLE! MY MR2 IS CURSED!!!

Thing is the car has been fine for a couple of weeks. Surely gaskets would have started leaking straight away? Its a pretty major leak again, dripping continuously. I HOPE it is just a case of a bolt needing tightening, but I doubt it. I think its another split pipe. Its such a bloody nightmare to r...

UNBELIEVABLE! MY MR2 IS CURSED!!!

Ok, it seems as though all i`m ever doing is posting threads about things breaking. Well, today, its broken...again. A couple of weeks ago I changed the turbo oil feed/return pipes on my rev 1 tubby. The pipe split and caused oil to p1$$ out all over my downpipe etc causing a horrible smell and load...

MR2 MKII Owners in Lincoln? Help Please.

Hi,

I have a favour to ask of any MR2 owners in or around Lincoln. I have a steering wheel wobble and would like to know if its my wheels/tyres or not.

Was wondering if anybody would let me use their wheels for 5 mins to see if thats the case.

I would really appreciate it.

Thanks guys,

Trev

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Wastegate Actuator Flap Stuck?? Help :(

I've read more than one thread involving broken lambda wires and similar...the cars all seem to misfire a bit when on boost but essentially it's not going to damage the engine if it runs a bit rich, It almost seems to be akin to the "offside rule" ... the rev1/2 lambda question...no body ...

wounder...you need the circlip or it will come apart...the O2 sensors are a plenty on here but expesivo from Mr T...sucker...lol. I snapped my circlip when doing the turbo swap and ended up using a sort of spring/split pin type thing that was in my toolbox...shaped a bit like a capital B...has work...
