Rev 3 Tubby at Tarpots

Blue (caribbean I think?) Rev3 tubby at Tarpots in Benfleet today. Looked fairly standard apart from an Apexi N1 exhaust. Any other mods done to it? Nice car and looked clean. Anyone on here?

Re: MR2 Turbo GT-S for sale

Thanks mate :D

That means alot coming from someone so established on the site!

Still for sale though, and still receiving my daily quota of muppets ringing me up and offering £1500. I guess that's what you get if you advertise on ebay! #-o

Re: Actually getting the CAT off (i've undone all the bolts)

I never needed to touch any engine mounts with in any of the cats I've removed! IIRC once you get the passenger side mount off the cat will drop enough at an angle to just grind off any bolts that have rounded off/won't budge on the drivers side support bracket. Everytime that I've removed o...

Re: xs power FACTS!!

I had an XS power downpipe on my old car. It didn't come with the support bracket so I didn't fit one. I had the car for 6months and it and never cracked. I bought the stainless manifold as well but never fitted it as I heard, after purchasing, (should have done a search #-o ) that the stock one is ...

Re: Downpipe fitting advise?

I'm not going to lie to you mate, it can be a real b*tch. But as long as you soak everything with WD-40 the night before the job will be made a lot easier. If all the nuts aren't rusted on beyond recognition then you should be OK. As I recall the hardest part of it all is actually getting the cat ou...

Re: Mines ECU and unichip q's

The car is still as I bought it at the moment, with a cat back stainless and a dastek unichip at standard boost. When I raise the boost will I need a boost modulator, if so what does this do? I only ask as my mate had to buy one for his st205 gt4. I've done a search but can't find that much about it...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4624793509&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:UK: What do people think of this ECU? As far as I'm aware I thought the mines ECU was just a plug in and play?? But from this advert it implies it needs tweeking on a rolling road I guess? If I were to buy ...
