Johns verdict? Two thumbs up!
I was equally impressed John, nice bass from such a small sub, very discrete too.

But then you'd have no where to put the T-bar glass.

Re: MK1 Speakers - sizes and reccomendations
John, I've got a couple of the Alpine 1600 active subs in my car (SLK). I think they are excellant, even with the roof down. Nice bass without letting the whole world hear it and it gives you a decent massage too. Never used the Infinitys but heard good reports. Sorry, not much help really.

You can try these:
last listing on this page:

Order panels yourself and take to the repairers, may work out cheaper.

Think it might be illegal though (not sure about MoT) as according to the highway code all rearward facing lights have to be red. You could always use red bulbs though....

I can also vouch for the Pro range, been using them forabout 10 years now and I can't recall breaking anything. I also know a guy who works in halfords and he says that the Pro range is what they use when working on customer's cars.

You could always try turning the radio up...? Sorry, not much help but I agree with Steve. You never seem to be able to get rid of the squeaks and in the end you don't notice them.

Re: Window Clunking - Solution... NOT!
Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. It turned out to be the cable coming of the spool as it had a slight kink in it. I had to replace the cable in the end.
