Jon did do some more spannering on the database this afternoon when the site was intermittently available and it is now fixed

Caused by an upgrade to the database from MySQL 5.1 to 5.5 that didn't run smoothly.

Now sorted and everything should be working OK, there should be a small site speedup with the move to MySQl 5.5.
