That'd be the reason why - spammers have their accounts and all sent PM's deleted

Re: Potential downtime - next 48 hours
Andy, all is working fine and has been for a long time ( more than 1 year ) . I've been puzzled by your post and have had a nose through the server logs. The only email that's been sent to you today left our server at 02:48:29 GMT, all looking OK - is this the message you meant? Could your ISP be fi...

Re: Exhaust fabrication to meet Track Day regs.
i would not recomend using them, things tend to go wrong Who ? H&S? Their exhausts have lifetime guarantees, and I needed a little welding to the Y join after about 4 years which took ~ 3 hours to get the back section off, welded up and replaced - which they did FOC. Given the Mileage, number o...

Re: Exhaust fabrication to meet Track Day regs.
Late in on this - but I saw Hayward and Scott got a mention earlier. Would highly recommend their MK2 turbo exhaust - Myself and John Juck many years back were the first two people to get a trackday friendly 98dB exhaust made up. Good sound, great quality. Pics / info / soundclips here : http://www....

Re: [Mk3] [Turbo] Recommended Unichip Mappers in Suffolk / Essex / London ?
Perfect Touch - I'd heard their star unichip mapper had moved on? TBH - they did the current map, and the boost increase. The current map is fine on full throttle - but moving from part throttle to full throttle there's a noticeable step in torque at one point as you just cross into small amounts of...

Re: Warranty Help
Odd place to get rust - checking my '03 car doesn't have any significant rust apart from the odd stonechip that needs priming / touching up. my Old Mk2 also did well - it was only my Mk1 that needed attention in the usual places. You got any pictures of the rust? You may get some help from Toyota UK...

Redline Tuning Unit 4 Heron Court Cranes Farm Road Basildon http://www.unichipeurope.co.uk/dealer-network.asp Cheers! It looks like either them or Perfect Touch. Anyone used Redline Tuning? Stuff up on their website reads well, but it looks like they mostly specialise in Fords / Peugots :? FWIW Mil...

Sadly, they're gone now, as well as the rolling road. That was one option but I hadn't heard of them doing any MR2s.

[Mk3] [Turbo] Recommended Unichip Mappers in Suffolk / Essex / London ?
I'm interested in getting my Unchip on the Roadster remapped to make the on-off boost transition more progressive. I've previously had it mapped by Rob at Perfect Touch, but understand he's gone? The only tuners I know of are Torque Developments in the Lakeside / M25 area - but I don't know who does...

Re: What wheels are people running on the Mk3?
Fantastic basically - I'd recommended them unreservedly, and I'm a picky bu88er normally. By far the best tyre I'd driven, wet or dry. The only fault I could put on them ( and its not a major one ) is as they wear down you get more tyre / road noise, and with the tread pattern on it can sound like a...

Re: mk2 turbo-gearbox oil level.
How'd that happen? Did you fill the gearbox on a slope ?
Obvious thing to do is get the car flat and remove the filler bolt and put it back in when the oil has finished coming out.

Re: What wheels are people running on the Mk3?
I'm running the post facelift 15 / 16" alloys, but only so I can get the Lotus Advan Neova tyres that were fitted to the S1 Elise - they're shockingly good tyres. If I was wanting a set to 'play' with at normal road speeds, and also for track use - the early 15" standard rims with Toyo T1R...

Re: Slight Server slowdown and Downtime 18/1/10 or 19/1/10
Update - our hosting providers have confirmed it looks like there's a problem with one of the disks and are investigating further.
I'm just waiting on confirmation as to if/when the faulty disk is to be swapped out - it is now more likely to be later this week.

Slight Server slowdown and Downtime 18/1/10 or 19/1/10
Folks, It looks like one of the pair of disks in the IMOC server is faulty - but as they are a RAID 1 mirror the remaining disk is keeping the site running normally. You may notice a very slight increase in page load times at lunchtime and through the evenings until the faulty disk is replaced. I'm ...

Re: Turbo mpg on track?
Easy single digits on my old turbo - 5-8mpg depending on the track and layout. Roadster seems a little less thirsty but still around 10-12mpg ISTR
I'd arrive with a full tank in the morning and need a refill at lunchtime after ~3 track sessions.

Now Fixed - I don't think this would have impacted us anyway : Towards the end of last week we emailed you regarding a networking issue which was affecting some customers. This exhibited itself as packet loss leading to slightly degraded website performance. We are pleased to say that this networkin...

IMOC Website - Possible short outages / slow page access 30/10
Just FYI - looks like our hosting provider has a problem with their network this evening. Impact is that very rarely case you may not be able to access the page you request - a 'reload' / 'refresh' should sort it out. For the last few hours we have been experiencing intermittent packet loss on one o...
