got some assembly paste that i used on a previous engine rebuild i did, specifically for bearings.
As for priming that was my plan and it will need priming as i'm gonna strip the oil pump to check its in spec.

could be the pick up to block not sealing so sucking in air, ive seen this on an engine. Also are you sure the HG is on the right way around as i think one end has an extra hole for one of the oilways.
