Hi,
It's 18PSI.

Not sure if it would work on that engine, depends more on the ECU?

Re: Overheating R3Tub
Hi, I had a similar problem a while ago, at sustained motorway speeds, the temp gauge hit half-way rather than the slightly under half-way that it always used to register. I'd had the car for over 3 years at that point so even that very small change was enough for me to know something was wrong. Rog...

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. No, this is the later style SSQV that does not have an adjustment screw.

[Mk2] [Turbo] BOV placement
Hi All, What is everyones opinion on BOV placement? I'm getting some compressor stall despite having a HKS SSQV fitted. The SSQV is fitted to a ST205 chargecooler in the stock location but the pipework, particularly to the chargecooler is a bit longer than normal. The SSQV does vent but I get stall ...

You could post a pic of the snapped bolt, I'm sure someone will be able to advise on how to get it out when you can see where it has snapped.

Hi,
There is a lock bolt that you can get to from the top (The one you missed?) and the pivot bolt on the bottom. More details in the BGB:

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Compressor surge/wastegate chatter/whatever you want to call it..
My undersating was that ceramic turbos should be used with BOV to protect the blades. Any thing else is personal choice. I don't believe they reduce the lag either as your asking the turbo to refill all the intercooler pipework, whereas with no BOV on a quick gear change the intercooler pipework re...

Hi Jeff,
Yes it is, bit difficult to measure as the cans are round hence the +/- 5mm but I'm pretty sure I got the widest point.

Re: Big Brake kits
Hi, No, there's virtually none in the verticle plane, sometimes stick-on wheel weights can catch the calipers. I don't think there is much clearance horizontally either but the wheels could be spaced out slightly. I'd just like some calipers that weren't a sliding design without having to change the...

i would be using skyline/300zx calipers and stock 275mm rev 3 discs, would really keep the costs down while giving a good increase in braking
Hi,
Would they fit under standard alloys?

Hi,
I've got the RogueMotorsport one and around 400FWBHP, seems fine. Here's an article about fuel pumps in MR2's, doesn't cover the Bosch though.

[Mk2] [Generic] Aftermarket Catch can
Hi All, Can anyone recommend me an aftermarket oil catch can? I can't use a stock one and there is no provision for the vapour/oil to go back in to the engine so I'd prefer one with a sight glass so that I can monitor the level. I'd also prefer a one with internal baffles, the hyperflow one as used ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] oil leaking from oil temp/pressure sandwich plate???
Hi,
I had a greddy one and that leaked a bit as well. More hassle but the best way to do it has to be tapping the sump for the oil temp and taking the pressure from the stock location.
