As above, don't expect you'll get a "proper job" from them. Its the same as meeting a girl on a night out & expecting her the take it up the number 2 slot, just because you're ex with the same name did. Hi mum  I managed to change a thermostat on my 2 once and Im a complete ta...

Always use them for tyres and alignment and can't recommend them highly enough

Nice one. Hope you set some good times
There were quite a few blue 220s around at the weekend. I was in the one showing an unusual interest in passing MR2s!
Northants
Lots of kitted up MR2s around today. Guessing Santa Pod?

Hello mate, any chance you could post or PM me their number? Might give them a shout to see if they can do a tubby box for similar money or drop and fix mine.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Gearbox repair costs
http://www.roguesystems.co.uk/forms/Product.aspx?ID=417 Get one of them and get it fitted much better than trying to repair the box yourself Oh also consider changing the clutch at the same time! :) Thanks for this. I'm guessing that the price on the refurbished box would exclude fitting though. Al...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Gearbox repair costs
Thanks for your reply
I think the majority of the cost is labour. Without the facilities I'd have to pay to get my box taken out and the new one added anyway.
Perhaps a better question would have been how many hours labour is required to drop and remount the box?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Gearbox repair costs
Looks like my input shaft bearing needs replacing
Got an approximate quote of £800 to sort. After lots of umming and ahhing Ive decided to bite the bullet and get it done. Is £800 a reasonable price?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Dave
Rev2 turbo btw

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil leak around headgasket?
Hi Mate, Did you have any luck confirming where your leak is? Pretty sure mine is leaking from the same place (back left hand side of block from head gasket.) Can anyone confirm if this is where the oil feed pipe goes from the block into the head? Has anyone had this leak fixed before? Guessing beca...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil leak advice, please
Hello mate, I'm not sure where the leak is yet but will post up some pics when (if!) I find it. View from side. The dizzy cap is in the top right corner and Ive taken the coolant matrix off. But check out the amount of oil. This is where the headgasket is right? So why oil leak at headgasket? This ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil leak advice, please
Many thanks for the advice chaps. Got a quiet weekend ahead so I'll give the block a good clean and see what I can find. Last time I cleaned everything up I wasnt really sure where the possible leaks points were to be honest. Ill post up some pictures if I find anything suspicious. If in doubt I'l...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Poor idling and low temp from heater...HELP!
Hi Rob, Had a similar problem a while back. Turned out I had a dodgy ECU temp sender and a coolant leak. Might be worth trying to remove air from the coolant system ( http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/kb.php?mode=article&k=38 ). I had a bit of mayo under cap but probably due to short journeys. Would ...
