How's the car feel with a modern turbo on it? I'd imagine that combined with a modern ECU and the other toys would transform the drive?

I run a Radtec Chargecooler, fits in the stock intercooler location and puts a quality charge cooler radiator right at the front of the car in the airflow. I've done the same as Ashley on my MK2 i.e. removed the 'plate' from the rack itself. Dead easy to do. It makes such a difference to the feel of the steering on track, so much more positive and "connected".

Harder work in the pits, but worth the trade-off IMO.
